I have always had such pleasant family experiences and have several fond memories from my childhood of this restaurant. My experience tonight, however, has forever tainted my respect for Culver's. If I could describe my experience in one word it would be "invisible." This is because I was ignored by employees several times. Throughout the dining process employees seemed distracted and confused. I went with my sister and her boo, Jhonathan. Jhonathan ordered first and paid for himself and my sister's food. I was clearly standing next to them waiting to order, but after they order the cashier ignores me and walks away. After a minute or two someone finally notices me and takes my order. The cashier who took my order was very confused, even though my order was simple and I made no substitutions. (I got a snack pack obvi). We sat down and got our food in good time. After eating, we decided to also get custard. We went up to order and a cashier immediately asks what we would like. We told her that we weren't yet ready. When we were, we walked up to the counter and were not helped for SEVERAL MINUTES. It wasn't busy at all, we were the only ones at the counter. We were simply ignored. When someone finally noticed us, Jhonathan again ordered and paid for his and my sister's custard. I was standing behind them, and ONCE AGAIN the cashier walked away right after taking Jhonathan's order. So I stood there trying to get someone's attention but employees were ignoring me. This is the moment I wondered aloud "Am I invisible?" After a few minutes a cashier took my order. This was a different cashier than my first one, but they also were very confused about what I wanted. I was just ready to leave already so I paid and waited for my custard. My sister and Jhonathan got their custard in good time. After they got theirs we waited for mine. After a while I noticed that nobody seemed to be working on my order. A couple more minuted later, an employee asked me if I needed anything. I was very frustrated at this point but I kept my cool and calmly told them what I was waiting on. The employee did something with the screen and found my order. When my custard was done and handed to me, it was missing the whipped cream I ordered but at this point I was just done with the place. I barely looked at what was in the cup and walked out the door, thus ending one of the worst dining experience of my life. The food is fine but they have this employee who walks around and checks on all of the diners to see if they are enjoying their meal and she is the most ANNOYING human being I've ever encountered. A simple "can I get you anything else" would suffice but she insists on shrieking at customers "are you enjoying everything?" And if I've finished my food by the time she comes around she literally jumps up and yells "oh! Did you enjoy your sandwich????" Like holy cow please leave me alone. She should be fired immediately because I might just slap her one of these days. read more

Food was good and relatively quick, HOWEVER . . . I arrived at the restraint about 5:45pm Tuesday night on 1/12/16. Many employees standing around having very loud conversations that could be clearly heard in the back of the dining area. This continued through the entire time I ate my meal, I felt sorry for the couples that were there trying to enjoy their meal and converse with each other and having to over power the employee conversations that were very distracting. We even had two employees come out to the dining area to clean tables that decided to have a conversation with each other, only they were half way across the dining area from one another. Also, not sure if this is a common or accepted practice but as I was leaving I witnessed one male employee take a spoon, reach down into the ice cream bin and help himself to a scoop and ate it on the spot like it was his own ice cream bowl, but good thing is I didn't see him double dip. I came to this Culver's near Hawks Ridge on a late Sunday night. When we arrived, there was a line to order and a couple individuals were waiting for their to go order. Throughout our wait, I became increasingly discouraged by the manager or owners behavior. All of his employees were busy assisting customers, bagging food, cleaning table tops, running to go orders to cars, etc. During our wait, I continued to see him scold/discipline employees loudly in front of customers, give orders, and exemplify annoyed body gestures (rolling his eyes, shaking his head, grumbling to himself). At one point, our cashier became upset by this man's behavior and started to cry after he barked at her to continue to clean table tops. I searched for this man's name tag or title on his clothing, but since his was not wearing the "Culver's uniform," it was no where to be found. Instead, he was wearing a dirty polo and unmatched basketball shorts. I hope he sees this review and immediately checks his behavior to his employees. Manager: 0 stars, Employees: 5 stars. read more

Have eaten here a few times, usually decent food and good ice cream (yea I know, frozen custard). Stopped in about a week ago, not during the busy time. If you have 15 minutes or longer to wait for counter staff to acknowledge you and take your order this is the place to go. Three people at counter waiting on two elderly women, one was trying to buy gift card I think. All three had trouble accommodating these ladies, totally ignoring my wife and me. Finally left with no indication of being served/recognized as even being there. The one young girl with her purple/pinkish hair must have had the dye go to her brain, she was totally spaced out and clueless. Have even went to national Culver's website to let them know about the incident; and received no response from them, they have no concern for who has their franchises and poor service provided. Unless you have lots and lots of time to wait for mediocre food, go somewhere else. We went across to Dairy Queen, excellent service, and yes ice cream as well. read more
