Getting the oil changed, having repairs done. . . car inspection. So, on a weekday off I dragged my butt, or rather my bumper, over to the Gulf at the Rehoboth Four Corners. I've been coming to this place for my inspection since I was 16. I never feel comfortable walking into the garage itself, yelling over the air compressors and power tools, and getting the attention of the only auto tech on. Thankfully, there were no cars there and the tech was sipping a cup of coffee quietly chatting it up with your typical Rehoboth local. . . plaid shirt, worn Wranglers, John Deere baseball cap. Tossed him my keys and was directed to sit in the one chair nestled in only corner not stocked with food, candy, and supplies in the convenience part of this station. Watched the Maury Show and passed the time laughing about it with the cashier. My car was inspected in no time and was waiting for me outside the front door of the store. Despite my hatred for all things car maintenance, visiting here on a yearly basis has a somewhat familiar, hometown feel to it. The same people, doing the same things, day in and day out. Last time I got to watch the Discovery Channel though, which was far more interesting than "YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER!!" I recommend going to the garage at an off time for quicker service and wait time.

When we pulled up the gas station was busy but we didn't have to wait because they had so many gas pumps. The fuel prices here were reasonable and it was great that they had a large convenience store as well as a 24-hour carwash. The other nice thing was that it was conveniently located off the highway unlike some other gas stations that take forever to get find. The convenience store itself was big, well stocked, and clean. The employee was very polite, and the bathrooms were really clean as well. In the end this was a typical Mobil gas station plus some. That is due to the fact they did such a great job of taking care of the ground and the convenience store. Not a bad place to stop if you're looking for some fuel!

WOMEN BEWARE!! These guys are cheats. I wouldn't trust them with gas or repairs…read more I went in today with an 1/8 of a tank, asked for $20 of gas, regular at 2.85/gallon. Paid cash. This was my meter after. My car has a 15 gallon tank. Went back, asked if they made a mistake. The gas attendant Charlie insisted he gave me $20. He said he'd show me the receipt so I went inside and the owner asked me for my keys to see the meter then tried to tell me I had more than half a tank of gas in my car. I guess he thinks I'm an idiot. Meanwhile Charlie got belligerent and shouted "You think I cheated you?" Yep, I sure do. I'll never go there again. If you do, and you pay cash, get a receipt!!! They never did show me mine. Absolute scum.

While I don't normally drive in the area of this business, I appreciated passing this place and its well-displayed signs for: "5 cent off Fridays!" As a Rhode Islander, I've long since grown to love my trips into Massachusetts as I find gas to be significantly cheaper. . . often times as much as a 10 cent difference! With the additional 5 cents off, this made my fill up only slightly more than I end up paying with my grocery store discount at other locations. This is a Full Service station (something I don't often encounter either). I also enjoyed this as its a rainy and somewhat snowy Friday in April. Service was quick, the parking lot is a relatively easy in and out. Try using the exit on Arcade Ave, as the one on Route 44 is very difficult to pull out onto due to the large intersection. Gas attendant was very attentive and quick. Credit cards are accepted. While I didn't use these services, the website advertises this location as having an ATM, convenience store, and diesel fuel. Speaking of the website. . . fill out their survey and get a $5 amazon.com gift card about your experience on the site! Not a bad deal! Perhaps, if I find myself driving through the area on a Friday and in need of gas, I will choose this station over the other two in the immediate area as I did today.

What's the sense have in the app when…read moreyou can't use it more than 50% of the time that I pull into that station the app doesn't work I've talked to management I said why don't you put a sign out front so people aren't running in and have to wait telling people the app is not working. They have to come into the store. They don't do it the people inside a clueless they are absolutely no help whatsoever. This has happened to me way too many times unfortunately I use a cane so it's always not a good experience for me to walk from the pump into the store stand in line behind 8 to 10 people because the pumps don't take the app I've never had a problem at any other Cumberland Farms in that area. In fact any area I do a lot of driving and I've never have happened any other Cumberland farms on the south coast or south shore their customer service sucks. I went in the bathroom with my daughter (the bathroom was disgusting.( There was blood in the toilet like it hasn't been cleaned all day the floor was filthy) and one of the workers named idel was being very rude. He started talking to the other customers about me going into the bathroom with my daughter. My husband asked him to mind his business. He astold my husband that it's his store and he could do whatever he wants, and then started, shoving his badge in my husband's face which is completely unacceptable and not OK !!!! By the time we ended up paying for our items he was swearing at us and telling us that he can't wait for us to write him up because it's his that nothing will happen to him. The other cashier working there from 4 to 12. He was really respectful. Check this out with no problem and apologize for the whole situation and said that he normally doesn't work with the person and said that he hopes we have a good night. It has a nice coffee section as well as a smoothie section for those wanting something a bit more than your basic drink. There's an air and vacuum station (for a fee) where you can check the tires of your car and get the inside cleaned. Convenient to downtown, Fox Point, Thayer st area, it's convenient for Brown and RISD students as well.

I'm rating them as a gas station, not on automotive repairs. Yes, it's cool to see a gas station…read morethat still does automotive repairs. And, it's rare nowadays to see a gas station that has some full-service pumps. But, they are so cramped for space that I literally caused a one-man traffic jam in the lot just parking to use the air pump. Worse yet, the filling ports for the underground fuel storage tanks are in front of the garage bay doors, so if my modest-sized work van caused such chaos, I can only imagine how much worse navigating the gas pumps would be when a tanker truck is making a fuel delivery. Other reasons for my low rating is that they do not sell diesel fuel, and only have the barest selection of drinks (one small cooler) and snacks. I get that it's a gas station/automotive repair garage, and not a convenience store, but if you have to make a stop, why not stop at a place that has both? They sell BP-branded gas, and the price was about average. Oh, and the air pump was free.
