The store is always kept clean even when they're stocking shelves. The cashiers are not very outgoing but they don't have bad attitudes either. There is a huge parking lot and ruining store is located right off of the Pershing Drive exit off of route 8 north. If there's a special, half the time it doesn't work. More often than not, I have to go back to the customer service desk to get an adjustment after the fact. I try to catch it if I do self checkout, as I'll try to figure out the discounts and match them up, but if you go and scan in the line with a checkout person, forget it. The deli line is always super long, so if you need anything, order ahead of time, or put in the order immediately in the computer when you get there if you are going to be shopping for a while, else hop in line. I've also gotten lobster steamed here, usually it is good, but once, it didn't steam all the way, so it was half raw, but obviously I didn't know till I get home, so I didn't know what to do with it - do you just stick it back in the steamer and cook it even if it's half booked?

Before I go on about a…read morecouple of negative experiences with the front service desk woman, I will say that Adams is a pretty good market and convenient that gives you a homey feel and not that big wide chaotic supermarket feel. The customer service woman has no customer service skills whatsoever. She is rude and cold and looks at you like you are a piece of dirt when you make a mistake at the self checkout isle when she tried to help me today she was condescending and said "I told you blah blah blah". I will not stand for that behavior. I will not put up with anyone being rude to me for no reason, because common courtesy and warmth to me is something that I practice every day. And when you are in the service industry you should know to practice that every day. Shame on the people that have this woman still working there and not taking her to the side and explaining how to practice good customer service. Part of my going into a business is the whole experience. And this experience is not a good one.
