Great spot eat lunch, take a break from your phone and just have some socially distant quiet time. There are a few art installations, informational nature signs and historical markers scattered around the park. This park is walking distant to downtown Nashville and Nissan Stadium. BONUS!, you can take the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge back and forth from DT and back to the stadium! Have fun!

The scenery was beautiful, but is definitely in the city. I was there on a Saturday, there was a lot of partying. You can walk to this park from downtown, so it's definitely worth the short walk. Beautiful dog park across the river. Definitely a good way to kill some time and catch some views if you are in the downtown area. However, if you have more time I would recommend spending more time exploring a more nature park spot outside of the city.

A cool park with an amazing view of downtown Nashville, Tennessee. I had a bit of time to kill between business meetings and stopped by here to do a bit of walking and enjoying a great view.

Attractive green space along the Cumberland River. Music was playing, people sitting outside on the beautiful day. The park extends to the other side of the river along the Titans stadium. Nice views of Broadway from here.

One of our local friends told us the best place to find free parking for going out downtown is just right over the bridge near Cumberland Park. We headed over for a night out and walked through the park a little before heading up to the pedestrian bridge. The view of the city lights and the park is pretty. Just more of Nashville to see and enjoy.

Founded in 2012, at 12.94 acres, this park has a spray park, an amphitheater, a playground, public restrooms, and picnic shelters. This park is an adorable innovative space, with a trail designed to attract butterflies, a kids' rope obstacle course, and a kids' rock climbing wall. It sits across from Riverfront Park, and hugs the opposite side of the river. There are great different water/river themed accents all around the park, including cloud and constellation patterns. The park has since became home to events such as the annual Jazz on the Cumberland, the Mayor's Field Day, and the annual Ragin' Cajun Crawfish Boil. It has great views of the skyline, and is one of the most innovative parks we have.

I loved this place the scenery was so beautiful and when you go over the bridge you are at honkey tonk road. I had a great time!!!!

A good place to start and end your trip to the downtown Broadway area. Parking was a little sketchy although we didn't know the area very well. The park and accompanying pedestrian bridge offer some excellent photo ops of downtown and the river area.

We were here for a wedding rehearsal which was a really cool idea. We took Uber so we didn't experience parking but it did look like a limited amount of parking. It looks like the perfect place to hang out on a nice day with some pretty views on the water.

This is a view looking North from the South end of the Park.

This park, located on the East Bank of the Cumberland River just South of the Titans Stadium and South of the Shelby Street Bridge, is a much needed addition to the City of Nashville. We went to the opening this weekend and were complete amazed at all the fun amenities. The view of the city is spectacular! You can walk over the river on catwalks and down to the river on the docks (where you can get your feet wet). You can take the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge over the river into downtown Nashville. I can't wait to attend a concert on the new stage! "The hours of the park are expected to be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily in summer. For now, they will be 4-8 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends." - http://www.tennessean.com/article/20120412/NEWS11/304120088/Cumberland-Park-opens-Sunday-riverfront-bringing-greener-image-Nashville Visit the website for me detailed information - http://www.nashvilleriverfront.org

At this point I'm one trail run away from qualifying for something I didn't sign up for. I also golf here more than a retired grandpa in Florida. Like, aggressively. If you need a tee time, sorry, I might already be there. I've made friends, ran races, had full character development arcs, and I see the same deer so often that we're basically on a "head nod" basis. I've named them. They know my schedule. One of them owes me money. Honestly, Nashville Parks should either sponsor me, put my name on a bench, or issue a restraining order.

I have been making my way to all the Metro parks and Shelby Park sits high on my list right now, and for good reason! The park is well equipped with all the park staples and even a few specialty areas. I come here for the trails, as I love wandering around the park, through the woods, by the golf course and around the water. Just something about it all that makes the walks a bit more enjoyable. In addition to the trails the park offers the classic park offerings such as playgrounds, gazebos and sporting fields. The park is well kept and clean. All parks are a bit worn and dated, but it is not enough to detract from the park itself. Nashville does a good job keeping the parks in good working order, as well as clean. Overall, I am a fan of Shelby Park!

If you're looking for a fun, clean place to take the kiddos on those cold or rainy days, this is the spot! It's so quaint and such a fantastic idea. There are a few different play areas like a Veterinarian Clinic, construction zone, and cafe for the kiddos to engage in some imaginary play. Additionally, they have a sectioned off area specifically for babies and infants. The Rumpus Room is not only locally owned, but the owner, Haley, is female and a veteran....how freaking bad ass!! You can tell that she and her hubby have out so much heart into this cute place. You can also see all of the potential and vision they are working hard to bring out growing community. You can chose to play for an hour or better yet, a membership to have unlimited play time! At this time, they are requesting you reserve a play time through their website so they can accommodate safe play for all. The crab cakes were a 4/5 - my husband felt like there was a little too much filler. The remoulade was delicious - and it would have been good to have just a bit more. I had the lamb chops on top of chimichurri sauce, which was a great way to serve because you get to decide how much sauce. The lamb chops could have had the fat trimmed a bit pre and they were slightly overcooked but not enough to send back. Just a note to the kitchen. My 2 sides were loaded Brussels sprouts and they were cooked perfectly. I also had the cowboy corn sauce, which was delicious. My husband had a burger, which was a 5/5. Roll was great and completely prepared to his order. Drinks were delicious - I had the Coco Melon. Nick had beer. We definitely will be coming back.
