Got a few items to go. We tried the trout bagel $15, half yogi bowl for $9.50, grilled cheese $15, butternut squash soup $10, $4.50 latte, $3 cookie.
Lots of things are made in house including the bagels, cookies, pasta. There is plenty of bright seating indoors, and a small area with outdoor seating. Service is friendly.
The bagel was tasty, what I would expect with lots of capers and onions. Half yogi bowl was a bit disappointing, it was fairly bland including the sauce, and the portion was very small. Grilled cheese was good, again a standard grilled cheese so in hindsight I'm not sure if it is worth $15. Butternut squash soup was possibly a bad batch (?), as it tasted like nothing, almost as if the squash had been boiled in plain water to cook then blended up as is. The focaccia bread that comes with the soup was very good however. My friend had the schnitzel sandwich which was excellent. Cookie and latte were both meh.
So a bit hit and miss but some items are tasty and I do appreciate that lots of things are made in house. read more
