Its a nice place, and it seems like a good hang out spot for retired folks to drink coffee. But I am not exactly sure why it is expanding so quickly as a chain. The breakfast burrito certainly cannot compare to all the local mexican restaurant breakfast burritos. Pierce Street is much better sandwich and coffee place. Panera Bread is at the same price point and is better with more variety. I have not tried the pizza, though, nor their night time prime rib. But both of those items see a little out of step with their coffee shop vibe. (Can't say I have ever ordered prime rib from a coffee counter before.)

They have great coffee drinks, a stellar atmosphere, and the owner Ron has adorned the walls with his wonderful photography. This is definitely a local's favorite, but if you're visiting, you need to stop by and see why. Also, I LOVE the shops on either side of this coffee shop as well. Sioux City Gifts has obviously fabulous gifts and Sioux City specific items, but on the other side is the most adorable flower/plant shop you will find.

It's a beautiful and large coffee shop as they do their own roasting there. It smells wonderful the moment you walk in the door. The people are very friendly and helped us in picking out a roast for the Pour Over for my husband. I got a breve, which was absolutely delicious! The blueberry muffin was nice and moist. My husband enjoyed a nice conversation about buying and roasting beans with John and Nick. Some coffee roasters can be a little snobby but not here. Everyone was very friendly and loved sharing the knowledge they had about coffee. If we come back to this town, this will definitely be our first stop. It's clear they put a lot of knowledge and skillful execution into each cup of coffee.
