Walking into the reception was the first time we had seen our cakes, and they were breathtaking. Not only did they look amazing but they tasted amazing as well. Let's talk about the cakes.... The wedding cake was a 5 tier multi flavor cake. We had Italian cream, lemon and vanilla layers. This was a true 5-tier work of art! The cake was delicious and the Italian cream layer was our top tier and the one we shared our first taste with. It was soooo moist. I just can't say enough about the wedding cake!!! I know some people elect to get a smaller cake, but everything about this cake was exactly what we envisioned. The groom's cake was a 3 tier cheesecake, and can we just say....oh my goodness. This was hands down the best cheesecake we have ever eaten, and believe me when I tell you, we have eaten some cheesecakes. We have already reached out to Jennifer, bc the hubby says we may need another cheesecake for a special occasion, you know, it's Thursday, think we might need a cheesecake. The lady working greeted us as soon as we entered the shop. They had cupcakes, cookies and pound cakes available. The cinnamon rolls were still baking so we had to wait 20+ mins. We sat in the shop for a bit but not the full wait time. The inside of the shop is really clean , with ample seating. We ending up leaving and walked to a nearby coffee shop to kill time. Once we placed our order for (4) cupcake & 3 cinnamon rolls, we were on our way. I loved the cinnamon rolls once they were room temperature and actually took on the shape of a cinnamon roll. I tried two cupcakes when I went to the shop (which is in rather odd location of 69S behind the Oil Change Store across the highway from Jim Meyers Drug South): Pea Pickin' (on the recommendation of the staff) and Granny Holland's Pecan Pie.
