I attended one of the cooking classes there and really enjoyed everything they made so the next time I was downtown I thought I would try out the food truck for lunch. Everything was excellent--interesting flavor combinations, food was well prepared and fresh, and service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the pork sandwich, which came with a smoky/spicy sweet potato salad. The homemade pink lemonade was also a standout! I will definitely eat here again.

A sweet silver bullet food truck with picnic tables and umbrellas, on a roll is a friendly and fun place to grab a bite. Nick is too cool! Maybe his friendliness is just an Alabama standard, but it was a wonderful welcome for this yankee! I had the southern sampler, which has a bed of greens, pimento cheese, and a phenomenal scoop and chicken salad with quick pickles and a sliced orange. Heads up: "iced coffee" was not the cold brew I'm used to from home- it's made some a sweetened syrup and is served with whipped cream. I am guessing it is a regional hit but we didn't like it. Nick was kind and gave us our money back...he did not have to! He also helped us scope out the area for our civil rights hot spots that we wanted to see. Ah- one more thing. Super dog friendly! We ordered online for 4 people. We had to include a tip before paying at online checkout. The food…read morewas ready at the window when we arrived. The order was in one large bag & when we got home all of the cold food was now warm & the whipped topping for the cobbler was liquid. The worker at the window was friendly however I would not have given her a TIP for ruining our cold food. The fries were over salted and tasted like garlic and they were soggy. The chicken tenders were over spiced and very salty and tasted like MSG. The wings were very salty and overwhelmed with garlic & also tasted like MSG. All meat was cooked the breading was loose on the tenders and when picked up from container the breading came off. The coleslaw was store bought package mix & we did not eat it as it was very warm & had a horrible cabbage odor. The peach cobbler was very good but not priced well for the small portion $5. The chicken waffle sandwich was okay however too salty and the person who ordered is very young & could not eat it due to MSG & sodium. This was a bad experience & all of agree not to give this another try our total OOP was over $100 & we are all very disappointed.
