He made suggestions on dishes and made sure we had what we needed as the meal progressed. My friend, who has frequented this place before stated that their menus were new. I have included photos of the food menus. For me, they weren't very user friendly or organized well. Either way, we figured it out. The dishes were generous in portions and very very delicious! The shredded beef quesadillas, shredded chicken Flauta, beef tostada, chicken tamale and Chile Relleno were are favorites and the burrito and rice were tasty too. Our other son order shrimp enchiladas and there were 3 small shrimp in each of the two enchilada. He said it tasted good but needed more especially for the price. When you sit down to eat, don't expect them to bring you chips and salsa, that's not how they "do it" here. They'll bring you a menu and you can order a la carte tacos,burritos, tortas (big sandwiches), tamales with different meat choices including beef, chicken, pork, and other more authentic meat choices (I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to discover those new tastes for themselves). They have a TV on at all times playing Mexican soap operas (during lunch). If you want real Mexican food in Montgomery (anywhere for that matter), then you need to try this restaurant. This included the pimento cheese board, wedge salad, entree, and small dessert. It is a tiny bit pricey for the size of the entrees, but was worth it for the private space, service, and quality.
