This Mexican restaurant has a very different feel than most of your traditional Mexican…read morerestaurants. It didn't have all the Spanish decor and music playing. It has a very open dining room and accent lights along the walls. We had a young man named Jackson as our server. He seemed a bit timid but provided great service. He made suggestions on dishes and made sure we had what we needed as the meal progressed. My friend, who has frequented this place before stated that their menus were new. I have included photos of the food menus. For me, they weren't very user friendly or organized well. Either way, we figured it out. The dishes were generous in portions and very very delicious! I had the meal #44 which is the Naked Pablano Pepper which I got with chicken. My friend took Jackson's recommendation of the #32 which is the Plato de Carnitas. Great experience. Would definitely come back!

It's a strip mall with two large open rooms that could fit a large crowd if needed. At first glance at the menu some items were a little pricy but it was lunch time so we were able to order from the lunch section that had some good deals. Apps were great! Good Salsa, guacamole, queso but chips were on point! Not too thin or thick, held up to the dips and tasted great. Hubby got a steak burrito similar to a fajita style burrito. It was tasty. One son and I ordered different items from the lunch pick 4 for $12.95. The shredded beef quesadillas, shredded chicken Flauta, beef tostada, chicken tamale and Chile Relleno were are favorites and the burrito and rice were tasty too. Our other son order shrimp enchiladas and there were 3 small shrimp in each of the two enchilada. He said it tasted good but needed more especially for the price. It appeared seafood was over priced and minimal per serving. We look forward to visiting this place again when be travel to Montgomery!

Chips and salsa came very quick and before we knew it, Jose was on the scene and took care of us like family. I only wish Jose was employed at my local Mexican restaurant because he made the night! Food was great which we ordered grilled chicken chimichangas w/beans & rice. Always go with grilled chicken versus shredded chicken...way more flavorful. Beans and rice were your classic staple that were made as expected Grilled chicken tacos were on point and had the right mix of toppings which strangely some Mexican places don't always get right For a late night quick meal in the South where places don't often stay open late, we were glad to stumble across this restaurant and we'll be back before we leave town. But THE hero was Jose, dinner and a show....trust me...to the locals, you have a true gem and hope you take care him. Loved that guy!

The free chips and salsa were good, the mango frozen margarita generous, and the spicy burrito wasn't bad. Service was quick and friendly enough. We sat outside. Not bad at all!

A lot of restaurants claim to be "authentic", but this place doesn't have to make any claims as it is inherently authentic due to the national origin of its chefs and recipes. I take the opportunity to introduce this restaurant to as many people as possible. I take out of town friends there and they are a little scared when they see the locale and outside of the building, but once you meet the incredibly friendly owners and chef there and eat the awesome food they make, all of that pomp that you expect of an American restaurant is unimportant. When you sit down to eat, don't expect them to bring you chips and salsa, that's not how they "do it" here. They'll bring you a menu and you can order a la carte tacos, burritos, tortas (big sandwiches), tamales with different meat choices including beef, chicken, pork, and other more authentic meat choices (I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to discover those new tastes for themselves). They have a TV on at all times playing Mexican soap operas (during lunch). If you want real Mexican food in Montgomery (anywhere for that matter), then you need to try this restaurant. This is not Tex-Mex or any other Americanized watered down food, it is the real deal. That means that you should probably put your sauce on the side at first until you discover how extremely spicy the sauces are.

Needless to say with our recent run on Oyster Bars knew we had to stop in Fresh off the road we worked up an appetite and got right to it. We ordered some Patron doubles, which honestly were crazy over priced at $18 a shot, some chargrilled oysters, fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, gumbo, and bienville oysters just so we could have a sampler of multiple items To get right to the point, the chargrilled oysters which were freshly shucked or smothered with butter and cheese and absolute money! The Bienville were covered with shrimp had a healthy amount of crab meat and a creamy Parmesan sauce that were good but something about char-grilled Flavor that made these take a back seat The fried green tomatoes were very crisp on the outside and delicious texture on the inside but the signature crawfish sauce I can't put my finger on it but it was absolutely amazing The crab cakes were no lie 99% crab with next to no filler which is rare nowadays and the remoulade sauce was totally made in house And then finally the gumbo which was highly recommended due to all the achievements it's one, had the right balance of heat spice shrimp, crawfish, crab meat and, okra is a must try! The po-boy fish sandwich was a healthy sized fillet and you could tell was fried to perfection All in all I feel this was a great experience just touching down in Alabama, the only thing that made us laugh was we tried all this hot food when it was 102° outside. Shout out to Josh for that good old southern hospitality as he took care of us like we were family!
