They have a ton of offerings, and it's very roomy inside, so you don't feel like people are on top of you while you're trying to decided on a purchase. Budtenders were friendly and knowledgeable. So I live in Los angeles, california, I made a call to make sure my medicine was going to be available in the area. Lucky for me, i made the right choice in who i picked to call. I was greeted kindly by a man on the phone named Kelen. He addressed all of my concerns to of which I would be able to retrieve my medicine while I was out there. Keep in mind. I had surgery so i definitely needed my medicine. He made me feel as if i was still local going to my normal dispensary. He was very professional, and made sure everything was alright when I called. Their staff are knowledgeable about the strains they have in house and a far better selection then the other one I have been to. 6 months ago I would have given Curaleaf's Auburn store 5 stars. Not sure if they have had a staff change due to Covid- but the customer service at this location has gone for a 10 to a 2 at best. I only buy curbside due to Covid, and place all orders over the phone. If you ask a question about a product they always rush you instead of giving phone customers the same courtesy and time as an in-store customer. I get that they are busy- but they have customers like me to thank for all the business they receive. Also- buyers need TO BE AWARE their computer system has charged me the incorrect tax rate in the past- and it only happens when an order combines both flowers and edibles. Flower is charged at 5.5% tax while anything edible is charged at the state's "ready-to-eat" tax of 8%. This has happened to me twice- and they always credited me for the overcharges once I brought it to their attention, but I am sure I have been overcharged on previous orders and just never realized it. Eve though they refunded me the overcharges, it was never without a hassle, and never WITH an apology. How many of you who have purchased from them have also been overcharged without realizing it? CHECK your PAST RECEIPTS to see if you have them. While placing my last order, I asked a question about a product and the rude and curt response I got was; "that information is on our website." It's THEIR JOB to give information- especially on a product designated to be an essential medication. I can ask my pharmacist questions all day long about a medication and never get a rude response like I do at Curaleaf in Auburn. The staff needs better training on how to interact compassionately and appropriately with customers who are purchasing their product as medicine for pain. I have purchased from several other dispensaries in town- and all have been incredibly cordial and helpful- while Curaleaf has been consistently rude. My response to their rudeness on the last order I called to place- "Cancel My order." I will now take my patronage to one of the many other dispensaries which are on almost every street corner- and who are very competitive in their pricing. At Curaleaf, rudeness seems to be the order of the day and customer service is almost non-existent if you question anything. As a final thought- skip the edibles if you must buy from Curaleaf. They should find a better edible supplier because both the gummies and the cocoa krispie squares taste so bad and leave such a lasting bad aftertaste- I want to lick my dog's behind to get rid of the taste. read more

One of the worst places I've ever been, REMEDY. Not! I feel particularly sorry for that woman who wrote about her first and seemingly only experience. After just a few medicated caramels she is now "OPIOID and PAIN" free. Sounds like the bleeding heart script right off the tv commercial. This place was great for the first 8 months or so before the quality took a SHARP nosedive around the end of oct. this year. They lowered their prices on all their dry flowers, almost like they knew the quality was going to wain. Their concentrates are still good, but double the price on the street. When I went in to retrieve my caretaker card and take my business somewhere else, they didn't care to know why and when I tried to tell the girl at the counter she walked away quickly while nodding...giving me the distinct feeling they didn't want me saying out loud that I was disappointed with my last $150 purchase and why. IF (and that's a BIG if) I ever do go back it would be out of sheer desperation. Hopefully, now that marijuana is now legal on a recreational level there will be no need. read more

As someone that's new to the world of medical marijuana, I was a bit apprehensive about my first visit to Remedy. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by professional, caring, engaging and highly knowledgeable employees. The process felt more like a trip to the pharmacy than anything else. Honestly, I think the employees at Remedy asked more questions about my healthcare needs than my pharmacist ever has. I have an extremely painful and fairly rare genetic condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes Type III. At 37, I am now on my third failing knee replacement on the left, in need of a knee replacement on the right and have multiple other joints that are in the process of failing. Needless to say, my days are long and painful. With the information gained at Remedy, I am now on day two of not needing my opioid pain medication. Who new that just a few pieces of medicated caramel could manage my pain better than one of the strongest opioid pharmaceuticals available. They sell roughly 20 different strands of marijuana and offer other options, such as creams, drops that go under your tongue, capsules, baked goods, and prepared baking oil. They also have items such as pipes, papers, and vaporizers. They are pretty reasonable pricewise - $13-14 a gram or $40-50 for an eighth, $3.50 for a cookie (supposed to cut it into quarters), $90 for a vaporizer, $20 for a 1-hitter, up to $50 for a pipe, ect. They tend to each person indivually, taking time out to answer any questions. You are greeted at the door by someone who screens all incomming to ensure they are making sure no one is trying to act stupid, you are made to feel comfortable and fully taken care of. Very professional, very clean. It makes you think you're coming into some high-end smoke shop or something. No smoking on premises, of course. I would say it's a very good place to get your medicine.
