Gemma the manager assured me that all the designers are either source their materials through ethical traders, are unique and independent crafts people or use sustainably sourced materials. For example the M Studio house collections use sterling silver from the Thaihill Tribe where the proceeds benefit those in need. In store there are black cards in the jewellery display cases explaining where the range has been made and why the designer is ethical. But apart for the community conscious values this store seems to choose pieces that are unique which offer buyers the opportunity to find jewellery tailored to the individual at affordable prices.

The products on sale many are Indian style jewellery and are generally quite exotic, yet tasteful and the great thing is the business employs fair trade practices in the acquirement of their stock, so it's nice to know there are some ethics behind the purchase you are making. Each time I've taken something for repair be it a broken chain, a broken watch or just something that needs a good clean I've gotten something back that looks like new. The prices for repairs are reasonable too. The only word of warning is that the turn around isn't quick but for the quality of the service I can forgive that.

They were promoting a whooping 70% discount on my visit on ladies clothing but alas the styles, which are more mature and wafty than my liking, meant that I wouldn't walk out with a top to match my new chain.
