The Walk is located in the shadow of Lambeau Field, just east of the stadium, beginning with a trio of statues at Lombardi Avenue &Oneida Street. It continues east on Lombardi Avenue and streets just off Lombardi Avenue named after Green Bay Packers legends (Bart Starr Dr., Reggie White Way, Tony Canadeo Run, Brett Favre Pass, Holmgren Way). "Most revered and loved for his devotion to the Green Bay Packers, Vince Lombardi is depicted in a commonly known sideline coaching posture; an iconic image of the coach. This bronze figurative statue stands 14' high, on top of a 6 foot-tall granite base. He is typical Lombardi, hands behind the back, a little tilt to his head, and smiling somewhat sideways. "Many Packers players jump into the end zone stands after scoring a touchdown in a tradition that affectionately garnered the name Lambeau Leap. Butler was also present for the unveiling ceremony. The Lambeau Leap statue features a green padded wall and four life-size bronze human figurines in cheering positions. The statue includes a section in the middle where fans can do the leap themselves and pose for a photo. The new addition, located just outside the entrance to the new Packers Pro Shop on the north end of the Atrium, joins two other statues -- former coaches Vince Lombardi and Curly Lambeau -- on the newly redesigned Harlan Plaza."

We learned so much about the town of Green Bay and about the Packers as well! Nick, the owner/tour guide was so awesome and patient with us, as we asked him so many questions, and asked him to take tons of photos of us! If you have never been on a Segway before, no worries, Nick the owner/tour guide or another tour guide will give you an instructive and informative "rules of the road" for a 15 or 20 minute class on how to use the Segway's properly! Each Segway has their own names too!! Like, "Pink Cat", "Claude" and many more!! This is a must do when in the town of Green Bay!!

Grassy Island Range Lights were completed in 1872. In order to accommodate large ships, the channel…read morehad to be dredged almost every year, and in 1966 the Corps of Engineers was planning on widening the channel, removing the land on which the range lights stood. The Coast Guard planned to demolish the structures on site, however a member of the Green Bay Yacht Club contacted the Corps about acquiring the lighthouses and was successful. They were relocated to the yacht club property in late 1966. They were relocated again in 1998 to the breakwall where they stand today and underwent a several year restoration project that included the purchase and installation of replica sixth-order Fresnel lenses for each light. When we visited, there was some flooding by the Coast Guard property and fence, and we were unable to get close to take a good photo.

What an AMAZING botanical garden for kids AND adults!…read more It is sort mapped like a loose maze that you won't get lost in. It really lends a feel of exploring little areas and mini trails. There is a colorful children's area with slides and a shoreline restroom building. There is a large hiking area passing by a small farming area and pond. There is also a Japanese style hilly garden. The ladies checking us in were so friendly and sweet. The gift shop is worth a look. Many things were reasonably priced.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for the library. I like going here to have a change of…read morescenery when doing some work. They have small desks with a top and a couple of outlets so I can plug in my electronic devices and stay in the zone and not get distracted when working. Besides books, movies, and music they lots of computers so you can surf the web or work on a project/homework. All you need is a library card which easy (and painless) to get. I also come to the library to print some documents. It only costs $0.25 to print something (color and B&W) and you just give cash to one of the employees and the put the money on your account. I'm pretty impressed with the events and all the services they offer. I hope people don't think it's only books here, more people should support the library system here in Green Bay.

They offered more to do than normal because of the festival but we still would have spent a couple of hours here regardless. Lots of cool examples of trains with many were open to us to walk through and explore. You could also take a train ride onsite. The museum is close to many shops and businesses off of Oneida Ave. so everything was close. Great gift store too if you are a train fanatic, lots of train-themed merchandise.
