Thinking I'd have to wait until Monday to get someone out here, I asked if it was enough to tape over it so no one would use it till then, or shut the breaker off that controls that switch. They sent Dan, an electrician, out. He arrived in about a half hour, replaced the bad switch, and did a few other jobs for us while here (replaced a light fixture, replaced a defunct smoke detector, and checked on another fixture for us. Dan was very efficient and glad to answer any questions we had. We called Evergreen with an online search, hoping we picked a good one. We did.

I needed this electrical work done and the the original electrician that the contractor had booked was not able to come. This was going to hold up the work. I called Tibbett's they were able to send two of their team over the next morning. They came assessed what I needed- they had everything they needed in their truck! They even made a few suggestions to make the outcome better- things I had never thought of-- I was so happy to have their experienced eye to look at my project. Their job was into two parts- they had to arrange to come back after the contractor had done more on his end-- and when I called again to tell them we were ready- they came promptly and were in and out with out any fuss. I was so impressed. As a single woman, dealing with Trades is honestly a bit intimidating. With Tibbett's I felt really taken care of! I felt they knew exactly what to do and I saw how they took care in the details. They cared that it not only worked well, but that it also looked good too.

I am conflicted writing this review because King's Refrigeration did an excellent job on a…read morecommercial installation for a local community hall where I serve on the board of directors. Unfortunately, the residential service I received at my own home did not match that standard. We had two mini-split heat pumps installed. There was a lack of clear communication early on; holes were cut into the exterior walls before the installers informed me that the units could not be placed as close together as requested. This resulted in a unit being placed by my front door with a long, unsightly run of slim ducting. Additionally, a section of siding was broken during the process and left unrepaired. Before the crew left, I noticed the slim duct coverings were not fully sealed. While they did apply silicone and spray foam after I pointed it out, one critical spot was missed. A couple of seasons later, mice utilized that exact unsealed gap to enter the wall cavity. They caused notable damage, chewing through the temperature line insulation and severing the drain line. When I called King's to address the damage, I hoped we could reach a fair compromise on the repair costs, given that the entry point was a result of the incomplete initial installation. Instead, my concerns were dismissed, and I was billed the full amount with an explanatory note on the invoice rather than receiving a phone call to discuss the situation. The equipment works well, but the installation oversight and the lack of customer service follow-up were disappointing for a local company with a strong reputation.
