Staff know quite a lot on all products and some are specialised in certain areas so worth asking for if the area you are looking at someone specialises in. Free parking out the front with good staff and a convenient location, The prices are fairly in keeping with other shops selling similar items, however some things are cheaper inc. The store is very…read moretechnical and although certain departments are very well laid out, it can sometimes be difficult to find the things you want if you don't know exactly what you are after. Items are very technical and you are sometimes left to feel like you need an engineering degree to track down certain electrical components or electrical accessories. The great thing about this shop is that you are able to find components that virtually no other high street shop sells and that it is accessible i.e. You can enquire about exactly what you need before purchase, unlike on the internet, where it is very easy to buy the wrong component because you are not really sure what will work with your piece of equipment. They have an abundance of staff to assist you who are generally very polite, (at times almost too polite in a slightly annoying American Have a nice day way!!). However, due to the technical nature of the store, the staff are nearly always engaged with other customers. I spoke to two members of staff, one of whom was not particularly helpful because I didn't know the make of the item I wanted (If I'd have known that I would not have required his assistance!!!), and another member of staff who was very polite and very helpful indeed. When it came to paying for the item a queue started to form at the till so staff promptly opened another till to alleviate the wait, which was refreshing. When I had to replace an item, they were also very accommodating, found the item I required and replaced it with no fuss.

There's a huge range of stuff, and each season they bring you the latest trends. The staff don't tend to talk to you unless you approach them about something.

Before QS moved to it's new postion on the high street it was always a pleasure to shop in. However…read morethe new internal design is quite dingy and dated, and doesn't give off a pleasent atmosphere. There is also now only a tiny changing room as opposed to the nicer ones it had before! The clothes for men are very good, and good value. However the clothes for women can sometimes be quite hit and miss in terms of style, but you can normally find good accessories like hats and scarfs. They don't seem to cater for a wide market in terms of clothing. At the back of the store there are a few homewares etc, but nothing remarkable. The staff are friendly and efficient, but there is normally only a couple on the tills and none wandering around the store helping you.

It is just outside Farnborough town centre and is in the corner of the shopping area so it is easy to find. There is lots of parking for cars and it is free. This branch has a first floor cafe - there's a lift and also toilets (kept really clean). They do a simple cream tea for £3.50 with a scone, clotted cream and jam, with tea or coffee. It's not the Ritz, of course, but nice for a low-cost break if you are shopping in the area. They also have a selection of cakes and sandwiches. There's a good sized car park, from which it is also a short walk to a number of other retailers, like Screwfix, Wickes, and ToolStation.

I like next, some of their clothing is really good quality, plenty of items in stock this summer just gone, and no matter which store you go to in any city, it's always consistent really, offering the same throughout. This store is nice and large and offers all womens and mens range as well as little ones. Only thing i dont like, is the annoying catalogue person on the door asking you to join up and pay for a catalogue each time i go it, bin it next, and move on to the NEXT one!

I like this next store, it is not the biggest of stores but is well laid out and does not feel too…read morecramped. There is always plenty of choice and the clothes are displayed very nicely. I like the way it is laid out with the children's department on the ground floor with the womans wear. The home department could do with being a bit bigger as it seems very small for the size of the store. It is very clean and is spacious. The staff always seem to be working very hard to keep the cutomers happy and they are always very friendly and helpful.
