This has been very helpful, to have his audio model to refer to throughout the week. You can expect to get some great material from Sam. Blues riffs sheets were good exercises for me to get started. These are very cool and a blast to play once you've got them down. Sam will listen to you and offer tips for improvement. I also love being able to bring in a sheet of music, which he will then demonstrate how to play, and, better yet, play it with me. It's a kick when he jams with you over a song! Sam is an effective instructor--one day's teaching will keep you busy for an entire week. He is also a gifted performer. When he plays pieces from his own repertoire, they are so expressive and masterful, they will go straight to your heart. His pricing is quite competitive for a 4 hour evening party at a hall. I was able to make my deposit through Venmo and also remit the final balance that way which was super convenient. He's also very responsive and answered all my questions/emails during the process. DJ EnRoc is very timely and amenable to requests. I let him know the theme was a "Luau" so he showed up dressed to the theme. His dinner music was perfectly appropriate. He worked with our dancers to play their music and when there was a lull in the show he kept up the energy with a good selection of upbeat Hawaiian reggae songs. He also complied with my request of 2 unusual line dance songs and promptly played those as asked. He made announcements to the party as needed. Once the dance floor started going, he had a good line up and mix of Baby Boomer/Generation X songs to keep the energy and floor going. Lastly, he's a great sport and good at what he does!
