I finally realized I better do something quickly as Hurricane Nicole was predicted to impact us. A trusted friend recommended The Roof Doctor so I called them and Paul came out that afternoon. Wind impacts were forecast to arrive within 24 hours so Paul sent a crew to replace all the missing shingles early the next morning. I don't know about you but when I have needed roof repairs, I have found it difficult to find roofers willing to work on some other roofer's poor workmanship. That wasn't the case with The Roof Doctors. Lisa in the office listened to our problem, worked with Paul to put us on the top of their list and they resolved the potential for major water damage. Hurricane Nicole winds arrived within hours of the roof repairs and the roof adhesive had not had time to fully cure and we lost some shingles again. The same day I called to report that, their crew was on the roof replacing the singles and there was no charge. Nicole also blew off the chimney cap so Paul gave us a very reasonable quote and replaced it with a stainless steel cap. He came back a couple days later to replace some flashing adhesive material. He waited until he had some left over from a freshly opened can so that he did not have to charge my aunt for that costly adhesive. He called me when he completed that job and told me there would be no bill for the flashing repairs. Paul and Lisa were both compassionate and helpful problem solvers for us. They treated a senior in our community with respectful dignity and went above and beyond to keep her water tight throughout the storms. Direct Screening was one of the companies that responded. I posted on a Wednesday and Troy told me he could possibly fit me in on Sunday. He was very good and responsive with communication. He sent me a message on Thursday morning asking if he could come out in the evening since he had another job nearby. I told him he can come anytime because I was home. He text 30 minutes before he arrived. He was friendly and professional. We found another damaged screen panel that was small, and he quoted to fix it for an additional $20. His pricing overall was VERY reasonable. He repaired the screens in about an hour. It was impressive because one was directly over the pool so not possible to just put a ladder underneath. But that did not stop him from scaling the support beams and fixing the ceiling panel. After he was complete, he had several ways to pay, but we used Zelle. I would absolutely use Troy again and I will refer him to anyone else who is looking for screen repair or installation.

Our entire home smelled like pot and the job they did was actually terrible. We had a day of no one showing and after a week of sporadic work being done, I personally spent about 15 hours painting my own home just to get them out of our house. He spoke like he was knowledgeable about things he clearly did not have any clue about and we ended up with a door ordered than we can't do anything with. We canceled the other jobs he was supposed to do and found someone else to complete them. Every single aspect of dealing with Shawn was unprofessional and a total nightmare. The only positive thing we can say about our experience with Shawn is that his employee Tim showed up every day and did his best work even when it was clear Shawn should've been the one handling all of the issues.
