Extremely Unprofessional and Unreliable I do NOT recommend John's tax services. My 2023 tax return still hasn't been accepted, and when I contacted him for help, he screamed at me, called me a horrible person, and refused to assist. He even threatened to charge me extra just for texting him. Completely unprofessional behavior. I've since found a new accountant who is kind, knowledgeable, and currently working to fix the damage John caused with my previous return. This company came very highly recommended by many of my coworkers so I am more than surprised with the way things turned out. First off, they had my and my husbands documents for 30 days, I never heard a thing - in fact I had to call numerous times to get them to start working on them. We were recently married and decided to file married separate this year. When they finally finished they called me with a couple questions that were answered in the paperwork that they had? Not to mention the fact that they filed us together but used my maiden name. Okay, we got that figured out so it was time to pay (4/27)..... I went to the office and paid for both files by credit card, while there I gave them my husbands banking info so his refund would be direct deposited. I don't believe they updated that info because the IRS sent him a check. I owed so it really didn't matter for me. Well now it is 3 days past the deadline, I look up my account on the IRS website and they say they haven't rec'd my file. I immediately called the office, first he couldn't find my file then when he did, he said "Oh I see what happened, it's stuck in the system. When this usually happens I just have to resend it" WTH don't they verify the files have been accepted by the IRS or State? It's been almost a month since they transmitted my file and I have to tell them it hasn't been received. To top it off, someone started talking to him in the background - he asked me to call him back in 15 minutes. Low and behold when I call back they aren't answering the phone. Great tax service @ a fare price ! First year takes a bit longer appointment time but every year after that they have most of your information so it go smoother and faster as a returning customer. They're fast and efficient and I've always gotten a maximum tax return and friendly service. read more

This is a top notch place. They did my taxes two years ago (2011) and did a great job. I went to a person in a networking group of mine (a licensed CPA) for taxes for 2012, why wouldn't I she was a network partner? Well she screwed up my taxes big time and Custom Accounting fixed all of the mistakes for me FOR FREE. I will never not go to them again, lesson learned!!!
