Price looked high to me at first, but in researching the issue, the $2,575 was on the lower side for such work. Still, I decided to get a few more quotes. What a mistake. Of the 12 electricians I contacted only 6 returned my call. Four didn't show up, one told me my entire system was shot and needed to be replaced, and one just played games. I contacted Jay on May 19. He fit me in his busy scheduled for May 20 and 21. It was about an 8 hour job over two days. The work is professional. My disconnect was an old "fuse type" that was badly rusted and a fire hazard. Some wires were hanging unnoticed and could have been an electrocution hazard. Jay handled the project with professionalism, knowledge, and found the right electrician to handle the job. I don't mind paying what is a fair price for an excellent job.

Got a text from him at 830pm night before asking to change to time because he overbooked himself when I was working with a tight window for access to the home. Showed up and he was super in a hurry to make other appointments, could barely be bothered to explain what was happening ALL people present (broker, contractor, inspector) commented on his unprofessionalism and due to snow couldn't do scope but was charged $170 anyway for him being there 15 minutes. Needless to say spoke to a professional plumber later who was appalled at the charges and behavior. I'm sure he's a fine plumber but bedside manner is severely lacking and the broker who referred is going to let other brokers know what happened so their clients can beware.

He charged $485 for his work and left unscrewded pum lid that is rattling during pump work. After couple of days we found that valve connection was leaking. We called to Steve's plumbing using 3 telephone numbers, eventualy he called back and promissed to come next day or day after. Nobody came and all our subsequent called were not answered. We are very desapointed with the service. Our invoice is sayng that we have 1 year waranty on labour. It is simply not true. Not recomend him to any one!!!
