My ice maker was not making ice so I contacted this company. Jason unfortunately was unable to diagnose the problem in person. The next day I was contacted and told I needed a new motor. I was quoted $465 to fix it. I found out the complete motor is only $64.54. Jason took a $75 deposit of which I have a receipt for. The repair will take less then then 5 minutes. After calling a more reputable appliance company they walked me through over the phone stating It only takes unscrewing 2 screws and replacing the motor itself. I have no idea where the additional $400 came from in their quote. I feel as if I was taken for the $75 and would like it back. Please advise me as to who I should speak with to get my $75 back. If you use this company I advise that you call their competitors before they take advantage of you. read more

Unfortunately the only review I can give is a bad one. I called yesterday for service and left a message. Later in the afternoon I received a call back and was told that someone would be able to make it today. The person asked me to give them a time. I said morning worked best around 10. The person explained that they would be here between 10 and 12 today. No show no call and it's 3pm. Now I have to call another company and set aside another day. What a nice day! read more

Stay far away from this company Jason is a liar and a thief. I had an entire hvac system installed last September for 5k and the ac unit went out in June of this year . The owner actually moved to Florida and has one part time installer. its mid july and the ac is still not working. He has sent his guy out a few times to try fixing it over the course of the month and wound up just replacing the condenser even though he told me he was replacing the entire system. I had to work from home multiple times and then he never shows up or calls to let me know he's not coming . since the unit was replaced on Thursday I have along with his installer messaged and called him multiple times with no response that the ac is not working. He told me if i flame him he knows where I live like a threat LOL bring it on Jason maybe you will show up for once and fix it.. If you have a problem will not respond. he also replaced the condenser with a smaller unit. read more

Had them come out to check our home's ac unit. They came out, cleaned our furnace, charged the freon, installed a capacitor booster, gave me some great advice on how to keep it running. All for what I think was a very reasonable price. The two guys were very friendly and very professional. I had the same exact experience the other reviewers had. Jason came out in his van to look at our AC unit that was malfunctioning. He was very good at explaining what was causing the problem and making it easy to understand. He showed me ways to make sure it doesn't happen again and fixed the problems. He's very personable and friendly to talk to, making the experience more than just a repair, but an enjoyable conversation. I had s guy come out to look at my boiler for my radiant heat floor boards. He quoted me $600 to replace a valve which I thought was excessive. I called for another quote from a separate company. They took a look and found that a valve in plain view was shut. He opened it and all has been good for 2 months! So needless to say,will not have A Nice Day come back as their not trustworthy. read more

How a "company" can turn from decent to bad so quickly. I initially had an alright experience with the one guy and decided to try giving them more work I needed done in another rental unit of mine. It went sour as soon as I called and was told he'd be raising the price on me on the same exact job that he did just a few months earlier. It was impossible to schedule with him on a convenient time for both of us, but we finally agreed on a time a week later meanwhile my tenant is anxiously waiting for a new unit. After finally getting it installed my tenant reported hearing weird noise from the installed unit so I tried getting into contact with him countless of times without luck. Not to mention the fact that he forgot to install the air filters in the unit... tried calling him about that too, emailed etc. no way was I reaching him so I had to call the manufacturer directly and order it from them. This is a one man shop that is completely disorganized and unprofessional. I do not recommend A Nice Day HVAC to anyone. read more

My repair needed a part and he had what was needed on the truck. As we were making small talk, he noticed the noise my fridge makes when it kicks on. terrible service. had a full install done was full of shortcuts and impromptu fixes. he uses cheapest parts and brand. had another service tech come out from an approved bbb A+ rating tell me all these things. he made a square peg fit into a round hole. he doesnt answer messages, buy beware. stay far far away from this company. the savings they sell you is all it really is, a cheap way to fix something that will break again. not even 2 years later and having all types of issues. read more

I want write this review on Jason. NEVER do business with these people. He came to my house to inspect and clean the AC and heating unit. He said he cleaned the heating and everything was OK. He then said the AC needed a compressor fan and it would cost 375.00. He ask for 150.00 down. He called back two days later and said the price would be about 500.00. I told him never mind and to give me a receipt for the AC and the rest of my money back from the down payment. He won't return my call and now I don't have a receipt for the work he said he did and I'm out of the balance of my money. I repeat never to business with this company and big ripe off. read more

I Had another company come out and look at my AC unit and they told me some irrelevant stuff was needed just so I could get charges. I called Jason at A Nice Day, not only did he stick to his word of making it out same day but he also gave me the real reason my AC unit wasn't performing. A nice day gave me tons of advice and I couldn't have made a better decision calling them. I'm going to use them to install a water heater next week and would recommend this company anyone. Jason was very accomodating and very pleasant. The reason for the stars is that the price to fix the washer was near the cost of a new washing machine. I will take responsibility for not asking up front what the cost was, but did not expect it to be so high. I would suggest you ask for an estimate up front and then have him deduct the 'Free service call and $25 off' that is offered.
