I got estimates from four fencing companies…read more Final Touch Fencing had the best price. Robert and Marisa were very helpful throughout the entire process. They answered all my questions and offering options and insights that I had not considered. I share a fence line with three neighbors. FTF gave me a detailed breakdown of what each neighbor's share would be. This made approaching my neighbors so much easier. They handled all permits and were great about keeping me updated. FTF threw out my old fence. They carefully cleared bushes and landscaping, preserving several that otherwise may have been removed. I removed four mulberry trees from the property and FTF coordinated and worked around the tree company with no issues. I especially appreciated how flexible Final Touch was--just prior to the start date I decided to add a small separate fence around my side door and an eight foot gate to allow for improved access to my backyard. These changes did not delay the project and the additional cost of these changes was very reasonable. Overall, my new fence exceeds my expectations and I am very happy. My three neighbors are happy and I have been getting compliments from passersby. I will be following up with final touch in three months to seal the wood when it is ready. My only regret is I did not do this sooner. I highly recommend Final Touch Fencing

Giving even one star is too much for this "business". I should have ran away immediately but I…read morehonestly wanted to give a small, local company some business immediately after the covid shutdown. This will be long, so if you want the TL; DR: DO NOT USE! We had someone give us a quote and we decided to go with them. They called to say someone would be coming out Monday. No one showed. No one called to inform us of the delay. We called and the secretary said someone will be out the next day and she literally just hung up on us. Tuesday came and went with no one showing up again. We called to cancel but later that day they called begging us to keep them and knocked off a couple hundred bucks. They claimed they were having a hard time finding people to work, which made sense due to the Covid/unemployment situation. So on Wednesday they came and all was looking okay. The job was finished on Monday, but they left all of their garbage (old fencing, screws/nails, etc) on our property AND left our gate looking like this pictures posted. Not level, uneven, and absolutely unsafe. We can't let our dog in the backyard. Can't trust our toddler to be kept inside the yard. We called the owner and he agreed it looked awful and the garbage left behind was unacceptable. He stated someone would be coming out that day to haul away the trash and look at the gate. No one ever came. No one ever called. So now we posted a negative review on his Facebook page and he decides to block us. Apparently someone saw them and called to ask what was included in the price, which the owner Bob said hauling away old fencing/garbage was included. Then this person asked why he didn't haul away our job and Bob got loud with him threatening to "knock teeth out" and that he was part of a motorcycle gang. Go view the FB page "family Fence LLC" and see for yourself! It's absolutely incredible to me that this company won't stand behind their work. I have called multiple news outlets in hopes of getting our story out there and that no one else gets screwed like we did. Call Lowe's and your will get a better fence at a comparable price, with MUCH better customer service and no threats of violence. SHAME ON YOU, BOB FISHER!

They still have not finished the job properly, weeks later. No call-back. They hung up on my mom over the phone, still haven't got them to fix the last three panels of the fence that were hung improperly. Shoddy workmanship. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! The absolute worst!

After doing quite…read morea bit of research to find the right contractor I settled on Kimberly Fence to replace my old fence based on their reputation, quality of materials they use and their competitive pricing. Relative to their reputation, this company was rated very well in Google (4.5 avg rating based on 212 reviews), Houzz (top ten best fence contractors metro Detroit) and Expertise.com (top 5 best fence contractors in metro Detroit). The quote process was quite good where their sales manager came to my house and did a thorough site inspection and listened to my desires for the new fence offering up various alternatives at different cost points/materials which I truly appreciated. During this phase, the salesman was very friendly and professional and not pushy in the least and vary patient with the many questions I had. The electronic detailed quote that followed had dimensioned diagrams for the installation (so you know exactly what is being quoted) and stepped up options so the customer can tailor the work to meet his/her own desires. After settling on Kimberly and the work I wanted done a final detailed contract was sent to me via their website for electronic signature with the ability to keep this file on my computer for future reference/use which I truly like over the old paper copy approach which invariably leads to misplacing the signed contract over time. Once the project started, The works was done over two days by their crew (Scott and John) where day 1 they tore out and hauled away the old fence and installed the new fence posts and day 2 they installed the new fence. The process they use was quite efficient where the panels. where possible, are custom preassembled at their shop before arrival allowing quicker installation and where necessary, they custom build on site the portions that are tailored to the terrain (in my case going over an irregular burm). Materials are top shelf which in my case was kiln dried 3/4" cedar Fence planks, 2X4 cedar framing boards, and most importantly galvanized steel posts by Postmaster (No more rotted posts over time - yay!!!). Just as importantly, the crew, Scott and John, were super friendly and professional answering all my questions and ensuring I was happy with the project as it progressed. I could not have been happier with the project, the crew, and the end result. From beginning to end it was a delight working with these guys where the end product exceeded my expectations. If you have a fence project in metro Detroit than this is definately a company you should consider for the project as I have no issues whatsoever in endorsing them based on the work they did for me. Five stars in my book!

I am giving the company 1 star. If possible, I would give it 0 stars…read more On November 4, 2025, AIS Installations came to my home to install a fence. It was my third time working with the company. I recognized the installer, Leo, as the person that installed the second fence. This third project was to install a gate, a fence on the side of the house, and a shorter fence along the back. Once completed, I would have an enclosed patio area in my backyard. The job was not finished on the 4th. Leo informed me that he would need to get permission from the city to enclose the back area...that is, to connect the two fences. Leo said that he would contact the city, and then get back to me. Again, this was my THIRD time working with AIS Installations. It was my second time working with Leo. There was the expectation that the installer would be honorable. I didn't hear back from Leo, so I contacted him on November 6th. Leo responded, "As long as I don't have anything on for Saturday I will stop by then should only take 30 minutes." Since that time, I received multiple promises to complete the job, but no follow through. There was access to the backyard. The gate was kept unlocked. If needed, there was also open access from the other side of the house. All month long Leo would promise to come out, but then not show up. I spoke with David, the installation manager on November 14th. He informed me that the job would be completed on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. As of today's date, November 30, 2025, the area still has not been enclosed. Lastly, Leo cut down my neighbor's tree. It was a White Wonder Flowering Dogwood. (I originally thought it was a hydrangea tree.) This was reckless behavior! The tree was clearly on my neighbor's property! Leo's excuse was that it was a weed, and that I gave him permission to cut it down. Both are fabrications. It was a fully grown, tree. Even if it were a weed, it was my NEIGHBOR'S weed. I did not, nor could not, give permission to cut a tree (or a weed) that wasn't mine. If necessary, the fence should have been moved over a few inches. My neighbor came onto my property upset, even though I did not authorize the tree being cut down. To quiet the situation...to diffuse the anger, I paid for the replacement of the tree. AIS Installations management was informed about the tree being cut down, but chose to ignore it. There was no offer of compensation to my neighbor. No apology was given. My recommendation would be to run, run, RUN from this company!! If a 3rd time REPEAT customer is treated in such a poor manner, how can they be trusted? There is a clear lack of integrity and professionalism with AIS Installations. There is no honor here.
