We called Bionda Cement Company late in the season for an estimate on a fairly large project. A triple wide driveway (all the way to the street), two car garage floor, and an exposed aggregate patio with walkways. We were surprised they were able to schedule our job within a week. Scheduled Biondo about three weeks ago. Stated they were out until mid/late September but would call if something opened up. Sure enough Sherry (she's an amazing communicator which is super important for a business) called and asked if they could pour the 18x10 slab early. The Biondo crew showed up around noon thirty and were done by four. Answered my questions and kept me in the loop when they had questions. Two member crew showed up the following day to remove the forms and power wash the new cement. Each crew member recognized our stamped concrete work done in 2006 as work they'd done. They were right. They did our patio, driveway ribbons and front porch steps. I recommend Biondo Cement for any of your cement needs. read more

Biondo cement did a fantastic job on our stamped concrete patio! They truly are the embodiment of going above and beyond for their clients. We received a few quotes for our patio, and Biondo was by far the most professional and knowledgeable company we met with (and the most reasonably priced as well). They were in constant communication with us throughout the process. Sherry and Gina at the front desk are FANTASTIC! We mainly dealt with Sherry, who was very professional and patient (as I am somewhat indecisive!). She was always there to answer my questions and call me with updates. Every day, the workers showed up right on time, and they were very professional and hard-working. We ran into an issue with our sprinkler system (the main box for the sprinkler turned out to be buried where the patio was going), and John, the owner, called in a favor for us. He got a sprinkler guy out here the next day to fix the issue. I also decided to add a step at the last minute, which they accommodated for me. And lastly, the sealer of the patio didn't quite seem to take the first time as there was some discoloration. I called Biondo and they sent someone out the next day who reapplied the sealer and fixed the issue, no questions asked. Incredible customer service. We had Biondo create our exposed aggregate patio and could not be happier! They came out around 730 a.m. and had our patio poured up in no time! The next day power washed and exposed the aggregate and it looked beautiful. Then they came and stained and sealed it. We were debating between a wood deck... paver bricks... or this exposed aggregate. When they came to give us a quote they took a picture of our house and drew a mock up. It seems they knew exactly what we were thinking and we are extremely satisfied! We will highly recommend them and will definitely do business again in the future. A++++++! read more

This is our second patio with Biondo cement. We had a great experience with the at our previous house and knew right away who we were going to have install the patio at our new house. Installation went well. They did break a large branch off one of the trees in my neighborhood, foreman told the driver to cut it down quickly. No apology was offered or an offer to talk to my HOA. Was told that these things happen. Great, I was real excited to explain this to my HOA as a new resident. Perfect way to meet them. Installation went well, patio turned out nice. Post work cleanup was poor. Street was left a mess and I still have concrete in my grass. Within 2 weeks small "fingernails" began breaking off the edges of the steps, exposing unstained concrete. A service man was sent out a couple days later and I was told it was no big deal. "These things happen". I explained I wanted all the small fingernails knocked off so I didn't have to call him back out for more repairs. He said it wasn't a big deal and he would come out as many times as needed. My thought was, "maybe fix it right now and you won't have to come back". This began an argument with him. In the end he did what I asked, but not until I got upset. He missed spots when doing the touch up and did not reseal the touched up spots. Not a good way of doing business in my opinion. I will have this fixed, by someone else, at a later date. The spots are only noticable if you know they are there, but still poor workmanship on his part. I don't want to deal with him again, so I will not call in another service call. All in all, very beautiful patio, 5 out of 5 for that, but communication and service wise I'd give a 2 out of 5. read more

This is our second Biondo Cement project.  Our first project in 2019 went so well and is so beautiful we called them again (I also gave Biondo a 5 star review on Yelp in 2019).  Our newest project was a walkway to our backyard and new back patio in exposed aggregate.  GORGEOUS!  Crews arrived on time, communicated effectively (we have elevation issues in our yard), cleaned up after themselves, were conscientious about the work they were doing.  They came back to powerwash & expose aggregate, stain & seal.  Each crew was respectful of us and our property.  Communication with Sherry in the office was often, very good, clear & concise.  We have 2 more cement projects planned and would not hesitate hiring Biondo Cement again.  They do what they say they're going to do, show up on time/day promised, complete the job and leave your property clean.  And most of all they do a beautiful job.  Thank you! read more

We gave them a deposit last summer, but the project kept getting delayed (not their fault... we had issues getting our seawall installed, which had to be done before the concrete patio). We called this week to schedule the concrete work now that the seawall is in, and they told us they are booked for the rest of the year. Come on, give me a break. It's mid-April and you have no availability until next year???? We'll take our business elsewhere. read more

I decided to hire Biondo to do my patio after seeing their 2 year warranty. They came in and framed out and poured my layout in one day. At first this seemed to be a blessing, due to a celabration party that we had scheduled a week later. They came back a few days to put the stain & sealer on and low and behold the guys hand over thier phone to me, it was the owner John. He was telling me that the job was going to cost me more than orginally quoted, yet nothing had changed. This was complete BS, I was forced to pay more due to the party and he knew it. On top of all this, two weeks after the install, I have cracks and chips through out the majority of the patio. After 3 weeks of call them 2-3 times a week, they kept telling me that they would come out and fix these, but they nevered showed. Finally, I get a call from the John the owner and he tells me that they will be coming out to fix it later in the week. Which I ask, "will you guarantee that you will show up this time"...his response was no will will not. So, 3+ months later, no resolving of this issue. Put a complaint into the BBB and they have yet to repsond to the BBB. This guy is as shady as shady comes. I DON'T Recommend him at all!! read more

What a waste of money! My patio has cracks up the sides and large cracks on the top surface. There is also a visible foot print that they tried to "smear" out and a big gouge in the cement. The stamping itself is also terrible. I make a point now to look at other stamped concrete patios in my neighborhood by other contractors and I am yet to see one that looks as bad as mine! I did try to contact the company and my calls went unreturned and my certified letters returned to me! Terrible.....consider yourself warned! read more

Biondo cement did my driveway. When they took out my old cement they told me it would cost an extra 500.00 to haul it away because there was re-rod in it. After the first winter I had a fairly large crack in the cement. I called numerous times and no one ever returned my calls. Then I noticed one day that they filled the crack with some sort of filler. Now after the second winter the crack is back. They obviousely don't warranty their work. read more

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! Had my job (driveway extensions, walkway, landscape walls) quoted and booked in early summer. They wouldnt give a rough estimate as to when the job would be started though. Finally after 3 months (and multiple phone calls) I had a start date. Great.... right? WRONG!!!! Talked to jobsite supervisor the day of, and was told they would be there in 1 hour. Within that time frame it started to rain where they were at...... but it was sunny @ my house. Soon got a call saying that they all went home because of rain, and they wouldnt be there the next day either. Rescheduling was needed... as if it was MY fault. Obviously my job was not that important enough, because they then scheduled me for 3 weeks later. Finally had enough!!!!! My yard was tore up (all summer) with prep work that I DID for them. Bottom line, it was a disaster! Dont bother with them. Give your business to a company that appreciates customers read more

Biondo Cement came out to my home and gave me a quote on a new patio. They spent a lot of time telling me about how professional they are and about their high quality work. I scheduled a date for the work to be done with the owner John. The price they quoted me was $10/sq ft and they said they could work with any design, shape or size I wanted. About a week prior to the day construction was scheduled to start, I visited their showroom to drop off my design and pick colors and patterns for the stamped concrete. Later that day I got a call from John telling me he was not going to be able to do the work because the size was too small and my location (Royal Oak) was too far away. Both of these reasons were ridiculous, the size, approx. 400 sq ft. is not too small, and John knew my location since he came out to give me the original quote). All of this put me behind schedule as I had already scheduled landscapers, sprinklers and sod. I have zero confidence in their integrity, and believe they will make any promise to get your deposit. Total crooks. I went with a more reputable, dependable and honest company for the patio. read more

I ended up hiring Biondo Cement over another company because Biondo had the best price. Little did I know that poor workmanship came along with it too. After 6 months of the patio being put together I had already a crack in one of my steps that they forgot to put a saw cut in. They did come out to fix it, but still doesn't look the same. After 24 months my other step came completely detached from my patio, because of them not rebaring it to the patio. Now I have a 2" gap between (more than likely going to have to redo the step) After 26 months my actual patio cracked from the first step near the door all the way to the front face of the patio, leaving a hideous crack down the face of my patio which is also starting to deteriorate now. Also the one side that has cracked also shifted up about 1/8'' which leaves a dangerous situation on tripping. I live in a fairly new subdivision and have already convinced my whole neighborhood to stay away from Biondo (JOHN). After they see my patio they go with someone else. I've called to have them fix it and they refuse too. I will post pics later and show you what saving a few bucks gets you. STAY AWAY FROM BIONDO CEMENT.. TRUST ME!!! read more
