I set pick up time for 4pm knowing I wouldn't get there until at least 5:30. Figured that would give them even more time to fill it if they were busy. Got to the store at 5:30, did some shopping, then went back to the pharmacy to pay and pick up my script around 5:45. Mind you, this is now more than 4 hours after I put in my request and more than 1.5 hours past the time I had requested. The girl at the counter looked at me completely dumbfounded when I told her I had a pick up, clicked around on the computer and then said, "we just got your request now, it will be about 15 minutes or so." Are you KIDDING ME?! I stared at her, annoyed, and stated that I had put my request in in the early afternoon, gotten an email receipt stating that the location had received my request, and I was over an hour late picking up from my requested time, AND IT STILL WASN'T READY?! Absolutely ridiculous. Add to this that I had my extremely antsy 3 year old boy with me who was overdue for dinner, and after 15 more minutes trying to entertain him in a Walgreens with five feet of toys to look at, THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE MY SCRIPT READY. We are new to Manitowoc and decided to check put all the stores. We were impressed with the selection at Meijer. Espically the selection of organic and gluten-free foods. They have groceries, clothing, home goods, health & beauty, a pharmacy and electronics. The store is clean and bright with wide aisles for easy maneuvering. The customer service was great. Meijer will for sure be one of our go-to spots.

This was my first visit to this location. Not know the exact layout of everything, I asked several…read morestaff questions during my visit. Some staff were restocking, others were chitchatting and the others were at the service desk and pharmacy. All of the staff I encountered were irritated and responded passive-aggressive manner in their word choices and tone. O was traveling with a family member who recently had surgery limiting their ability to walk long distances. We chose to go to Walmart because we expected the ridding wheeled cart would o be available. None of the ridding wheeled carts (of which there were only 3) were charged or working. I noticed several staff using the carts, around the store and behind the service desk. I completed understand their need to support team members. However staff and customer needs should be balanced. If you are in the area and this store is the closest Walmart, I would choose another location (in Fond du Lac, Green Bay or Sheboygan) or go to Meijer.
