I have used this company for a couple of years to help mitigate a builder's grade sprinkler system. Custom Lawn has replaced sprinkler heads, adjusted sprinkler flows/arc and repaired the main irrigation valves, which broke at 1 year old. I now use them to winterize my system, despite it being self draining. They have worked with me, to make ongoing adjustments, to get this bare bones system adjusted to meet my yard and my landscaping expectations. The professionalism and follow through are top notch. I been using this company for about 4 years on my sprinkler and about 3 years on mowing and was satisfied with them and about a month ago had them do my flowerbed and they first planted a couple of plants that looked dead so he replaced two of the worst ones. And then after one week the stubborn grass that we had growing in the flowerbed that they were supposed to take care of already came back in a week!!!! So the main guy came out and sprayed and now I have dead grass outside of the bed where he sprayed and the plants that were planted around where he sprayed are dead 2 weeks after he sprayed. I followed what the papers said to do and the flowerbed looks horrible . Will never have them do again. If he was a professional he should of known not to get on grass around flowerbed or too close to newly planted flowers!!!!!! read more

This is our 2nd year using Custom Lawn and we could not be any happier! This year our lawn looks impeccable - all thanks to Dustin!! Unfortunately we had to fire this lawn company. There services have become inconsistent, and the customer service and scheduling is very disorganized. We tried to call for two weeks just to get our lawn cleaned, which we had already been invoiced. After multiple promises with no work done, we were forced to cancel all services. In addition, we pay for weekly lawn service, fertilization, seeding, and sprinkler care. In 4 years they have not been able to get our yard looking well, dead spots, no recommendations or follow up. With all the lawn services available in our area, I would look elsewhere. My invoice said 174. Later billed 250. Why is the invoice different??? They charged my 78 dollars more for nothing. I will no longer be using this company after 19 years. Terrible customer service and billing. There was a mysterious charge of an additional 78 dollars that was not on the invoice yet they tried to bill me for it. I called to have some work done on my sprinklers. The pipes were cracked from being frozen and they wanted to charge a 78 dollar trip charge on top of me asking them to come for repairs. Never again. These People Are Charging Me For Services THAT WERE NEVER RENDERED TO MY ADDRESS! All They Know IS THEIR TRUCK WAS PARKED OUTSIDE MY HOME! Custom's Employees Never Got Out Of Their Truck In June Because I Hired Another Lawncare Service! I Texted Dave Mc Gruder one of their Manager's to let him know that NO SERVICE'S Were Being RENDERED! I ALSO ASKED DAVE to QUIT with the LAWNCARE YARD TREATMENT'S because my YARD looks worse than My Neighbors YARD! So, STOP these so CALLED TREATMENTS that's DOING NOTHING FOR MY YARD! CUSTOM Lawncare and Landscaping Business has A Horrendously NON-FUNCTIONING BILLING DEPARTMENT! My Service Ended AT THE END OF MAY 2020. I PAID FOR ALL SERVICES RENDERED UP UNTIL THAT POINT. I WAS STILL GETTING BILLED For TREATMENT's WHEN I HAD PLEADED, NO MORE TREATMENT's and telling them I Received No Grass Cutting the First Week of June and I Hired Another Company who Came Right Then and Cut My Grass that DAY. And have absolutely been cutting it Every Since! This Company Preys On The Elderly and OLDER Senior Citizens, I ASSUME THEY THINK WE CANNOT COUNT, ANYMORE! Custom Worker's Used Their Weed-eater That Damaged The Siding Around My House, Then The Siding Was Replaced With Mismatched Siding AT THE BOTTOM- 2-SLANTS. Custom's Worker's kept Damaging My Siding With Their Weed-Eater causing it to FLAP BACK AND FORTH. Even After all of This DAVE came by in Early June and said he came and SEALED MY SIDING WITH CAULKING! I SAID It Doesn't Need To Be Caulked It Needs To Be Fixed. After literally about 20-Promises I Called My Siding Company which I should have done in the first Place. My Bill Pay Accidentally Sent Custom Lawncare A Check in the Middle of June 2021 $182.10, Custom KEPT MY MONEY. All SERVICES HAD BEEN CANCELED Previously and ALL DEBTS were PAID IN FULL. THESE People sent me a BILL LAST WEEK SAYING, I OWE THEM OVER $370.00 and it's 60 Day's PAST DUE. Custom Stated IT Will Be Sent To A Collection Agency. These Collections Agencies Threats When You Destroyed My Siding and Put Up The TRIM SIDING Rather than The HOUSE SIDING. We have been with custom Lawn for 19 years. This year their winterization cracked my pipes and when they came to fix some sprinkler heads they charged me a 78 dollar trip charge on top of the sprinkler heads and labor charge. Charged me one price on my invoice that I signed when the tech was at my house and the price went up by 78 dollars that is not on the invoice. There is a box that was checked that says 78 dollar fee waived yet they still charged it and their explanation was well we would have charged you 2 78 dollar charges but we waived one. Why would you charge me 2 78 dollar charges for one trip to my house and then when I have the work performed as I scheduled to have heads replaced I still get a trip charge. I will no longer be doing business after 19 years. What I signed at the time of service should be what I pay not some fictious charge added on later. Couldn't be more unhappy with the office and way they run the business. Had multiple billing issues which took too long to get straightened out (I left a credit card on file for all billing so couldn't be simpler). Additionally, the crew never showed up for a second application. When I canceled the contract I got charged for a 'free' application given with the first application that I never knew even happened. read more
