I am sure Aspen could be an amazing company but our experience was not good. We had lots of areas that got seeded late b/c of army worms last season. I knew it was going to take more then the basic seeding. Which we went above and beyond, which was costly. I wanted to start our services a few weeks late, instead of starting our services they skipped the fertilizer and went to the weed and bug control which killed off most of the new grass that was coming up. Once again this company started out with a bang!!! They are supposed to call the lawn care team in the complex that they are coming out the day before. Three times already this season no heads up notification!! it is run by an absent owner with poor staff in charge. Once again I would give no stars if I could. Mo the president says they give our complex a discount. I think this is part of the problem - it is discounted service and they act like it. Very disappointed in this company. After a ton of advertising aimed towards our neighborhood, we gave him a try. After the first treatment in late June, they were pretty nonresponsive and helping set up an account so that I could pay. The first two people I dealt with were real vague, one told me that he would call me after his route with the information to access my account, and an email Corey went unanswered. Was finally able to set up an account after catching someone for service a few weeks ago, but in speaking with that man and clarifying what areas we needed treated, they still didn't treat our entire yard. We haven't seen a single area of concern that let us to seek treatment for weeds improve. now, 3 to 4 weeks after finally getting access to the customer account info, our account has been sent to collections . This company has proven to be a headache, and they obviously don't care about anything other than getting that steady flow of revenue. This may be my first yelp review, I cannot remember for sure, but I felt compelled to read review because it is the absolutely worst customer service I've ever received from any kind of company that does routine maintenance or care on your home or property. As a professional myself that understands the value of under promising and over serving your customers/client base, I strongly advise that you ask around about this company and read some reviews. I haven't read the specific reviews, but if a company is below 3.5-4.0 stars on any review site, do you know there's something to it. Maybe it was the fact that two out of the three treatments they came by when I talked to the employee, they were brand new. Sounds like there might be a lot of turnover which indicates problems as well. Really upset and disgusted with these guys. I have no recourse but to pay that balance immediately so it doesn't ruin my credit and cancel right away. Absolute headache, waste of time, and waste of money. If I could give it a worse rating than one star, I would. They are like the frontier airlines of Lawncare. read more

This company has horrible customer service. I've been trying to reach someone for the past week to help me with my lawn issues, and no one has responded. I filled out a quote estimate form on their website and received an auto-response email stating I will hear from someone shortly...2 days go by and I don't hear a thing. I call them two days in a row and leave numerous voice messages, emails, and still no response or call back. I called a different company (Custom Lawn & Landscape) and they answered the first time I called (GASP!) they were so helpful and provided stellar customer service. They sent a lawn expert to my house early the next morning and I received my first lawn treatment for free. I have already recommended them to others. I don't know if this company is still in business? It has lots of great reviews, but I still haven't heard from anyone!! I will never recommend this company to anybody! I called Aspan for an ant issue. They came out quickly and found so many ant nests at my home it was insane. The technician was there over an hour and was seriously moving plants around, picking up landscape rocks etc... looking for those ants! She was so diligent in what she was doing. She sprayed all around my house and even in outlying areas such as around a burm and trees. She literally watched trails to see where they were going and sprayed the nest areas. I know all this because I saw on our camera and she called me afterwards and explained her treatment. I am definitely impressed and will continue using this company! read more

Absolutely horrible! I live in a condo off of 159th and Roe. Aspen mowed yesterday. The man who blew off the patios and sidewalk seriously stepped on a plant as he was moving from the sidewalk to the yard. He spit on the sidewalk. And I had mulch run off after the rain Tuesday night. Both the workers had to step right over this and neither took the time to clean it off. My HOA dues are $275 and this is the service I get? I have weeds, dead plants and sod. Absolutely wrong on so many levels. read more

Had company out to aerate and overseed , but first had them come out and flag and check sprinkler system. They sent two guys for a one man job but they were done in about a hour and 15 min because they replaced a couple of heads and moved a few heads.when I got the bill they charged me 4 hours labor 400. Plus 99. Labor for checking and flagging. 40. Dallas parts and 24. Dollars gas for travel. I called and they said it was 400 for labor because they sent two guys ...and this is just for the sprinkler system ...then the guy came for the aerate and overseeding and he started to leave after only doing the front yard, after I stopped him and said I was quoted and paying for the whole yard he put down seeds first then used a different machine to do the back. When I asked him why he was seeding first on the back yard he said it didn't matter if it was before or after. So three weeks and about a thousand dollars later and no grass coming in what so ever ... Will never use this company again. Beware read more

I have had very good service from them. Yesterday I was sitting on front porch when the truck pulled up to spray the lawn. The driver came over to us and asked if we wanted him to come today instead. This he did early this am and left info on porch as I said I might not be up that early. Very nice respectful man. Very imperative rates also. read more
