I don't have an issue with taking on projects like this, but with everything else going on, I decided to look for someone to repair it for me. I didn't know that anyone actually repaired modern flat-screens, so I was pleasantly surprised to find Get The Picture. I made contact with Tony on a Wednesday, and set up an appointment for the following Saturday. Tony arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He was very knowledgeable and and friendly, and took time to explain the TV's technology to me. He was very careful and conscientious while disassembling the TV, and was methodical about troubleshooting the problem. He identified the malfunctioning part and said he would get price and availability the following Monday. On Tuesday he called with a price for the repair (which was very fair) and I approved the estimate. A week later, he contacted me to see if he could install the new part that afternoon. He arrived ahead of schedule, and within 20 minutes had the TV functioning like new. I'm very happy that the old Samsung is working again, thanks to Tony. In addition, several times the person they send is not sufficiently trained to resolve the issue -- and we have to wait another 10 days. Some configuration of this has happened between 8 and 10 times in 7 years. This is our SECURITY system. We pay a high price for this service but, when we have a need, we have to go without security for 10 days or longer??? We are NOT impressed.

It's trouble with a capital T finding help out here but when you do and the work is very good I…read morehave to say something. I've been remodeling. Remodeling is almost my new middle name. I keep telling myself just say no but I can't kick the dragon off my back so I just keep going. One thing I really don't like doing is electrical work. My house is a good fifty years old but not to bad. The people before me put up new drywall and did some other work but left the original plugs in the wall. So bad the plugs would fall out or be so loose as not to work, I.e phone Charger. Yes, whoever did it is fired in my book. I had to change one because I was hanging a tv up and the plug would drop out after a mere tremor. So here I am on the floor, a big guy with big hands and I suppose these green eyes don't focus the way they used to. Just Being honest it probably took me about an hour just on that one plug. I had two bedrooms and The rest of the living room and hallway to do. I'm still shaking My head when I think of it. I looked around and called Murphys Electric and left a message. The next day I got a call from them and I spilled out my dilemma. He very Nice and patiently listened and then told me they are very busy But he'll see what he could do. Will, by the end of the day he calls back and tells Me he has someone that will be here at 8 am the next day. I was speechless. Ok let's go for it and 8 am the next day Jed pulls up and I show him what I needed and off to work he goes. He had the first bedroom done in an hour! It was great and then he kept going. He even cut a beater opening in the bathroom where I had put up cedar walls and put the plug over the wood. He even spots the outlet that I put in and noticed it was out from the wall a little too much and fixed that up. I was very happy with the work and even showed him the lights I have on the deck where I have it partially roofed and has overhead lights and will have them come back to replace the lights with something like a Key Largo type fan. I have complete confidence in them.
