Instead of fixing the situation he made it worse - he just twisted the wires for those lights to the carport lights so I cannot turn on one without the others coming on. There's a reason these guys have a 3 star rating. Mine is 1. I am a trusting person which, in this area seems to be a major problme. I am so sick of people like this taking advantage of people like me - a senior recovering from cancer. Shameless!

I contacted Modern Electric for a small job, they came straight out, were prompt, extremely personable and did a fantastic job for one very reasonable charge, no trip charge, no extras tagged on. Daniel was so nice, he installed our ceiling chandelier and then removed it, modified the height to suit us changing our minds and reinstalled it again. Poor guy we had him up and down on the ladder. When our Samsung plasma TV went on the fritz, I was somewhat at a loss as to what to do. Even…read morethough it is eight years old, it's still a great TV and I saw no need to replace it. I don't have an issue with taking on projects like this, but with everything else going on, I decided to look for someone to repair it for me. I didn't know that anyone actually repaired modern flat-screens, so I was pleasantly surprised to find Get The Picture. I made contact with Tony on a Wednesday, and set up an appointment for the following Saturday. Tony arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He was very knowledgeable and and friendly, and took time to explain the TV's technology to me. He was very careful and conscientious while disassembling the TV, and was methodical about troubleshooting the problem. He identified the malfunctioning part and said he would get price and availability the following Monday. On Tuesday he called with a price for the repair (which was very fair) and I approved the estimate. A week later, he contacted me to see if he could install the new part that afternoon. He arrived ahead of schedule, and within 20 minutes had the TV functioning like new. I'm very happy that the old Samsung is working again, thanks to Tony. Tony provides a service that is probably pretty hard to find in this area. Highly recommend.

The young man that came out was a worker, immediately understood the issue and went after it, broke out the serious equipment and found the first break. He then found the second and excavated both. After running to the supply store to pick up some gear, came back and finished the job. I don't think he took a lunch break, felt bad for that. He explained where he hooked it to the two panels and exactly what we have now and I am a happy customer. This was not the cheapest option but this was a knowledgable person who attacked the problem correctly, resolved it and ready to move on to the next. I respect companies and people that have the right work ethic and this is one of those companies as far as I can tell. Employ them with confidence.

It's trouble with a capital T finding help out here but when you do and the work is very good I…read morehave to say something. I've been remodeling. Remodeling is almost my new middle name. I keep telling myself just say no but I can't kick the dragon off my back so I just keep going. One thing I really don't like doing is electrical work. My house is a good fifty years old but not to bad. The people before me put up new drywall and did some other work but left the original plugs in the wall. So bad the plugs would fall out or be so loose as not to work, I.e phone Charger. Yes, whoever did it is fired in my book. I had to change one because I was hanging a tv up and the plug would drop out after a mere tremor. So here I am on the floor, a big guy with big hands and I suppose these green eyes don't focus the way they used to. Just Being honest it probably took me about an hour just on that one plug. I had two bedrooms and The rest of the living room and hallway to do. I'm still shaking My head when I think of it. I looked around and called Murphys Electric and left a message. The next day I got a call from them and I spilled out my dilemma. He very Nice and patiently listened and then told me they are very busy But he'll see what he could do. Will, by the end of the day he calls back and tells Me he has someone that will be here at 8 am the next day. I was speechless. Ok let's go for it and 8 am the next day Jed pulls up and I show him what I needed and off to work he goes. He had the first bedroom done in an hour! It was great and then he kept going. He even cut a beater opening in the bathroom where I had put up cedar walls and put the plug over the wood. He even spots the outlet that I put in and noticed it was out from the wall a little too much and fixed that up. I was very happy with the work and even showed him the lights I have on the deck where I have it partially roofed and has overhead lights and will have them come back to replace the lights with something like a Key Largo type fan. I have complete confidence in them.
