He came to my house October 11 and was supposed to start working the next day on October 12. We agreed on a total price and he requested a down payment upfront. I've never heard of that before, but since he's done work for people I know I felt I could trust doing that. He didn't show up the next day as agreed. Over the next few weeks, I called him and text him several times with no response. Then the one time I did get a text reply, it was at 10 pm on a Saturday and I could tell by the unprofessional response that he had no intentions of doing the work. It was all a lie.
