I was then rudely stopped by a woman on a power trip whom literally walked in front of my moving truck, to wave her hand in the air and shortly say "we're closed when that gate is shut!" I was ready to explode, rather than be an asshole I bit my tongue and turned around. As I was leaving at 4:26 I decided to call and complain.....wouldn't you know, the same woman answers. I recognized her voice and confirmed, then requesting her to tell me what time it was. "4:27" she replied. I asked why I was rejected even though you close at 4:30? "We close that gate at 4:25 every day." No change in attitude whatsoever! I work for a living, M-F and took time from my schedule so that i could drop off the load from my Mother in laws' garage, knew I was cutting it close and traffic didn't help me any so I know my faults in the line of events but as I said, 4:30 is 4:30! What happens at an eatery? The grocery store? We all have done it and/or experienced it! Is it because of the Union? Overpaid, underworked and spoiled beyond belief? No wonder Grizzly had to be sued by RS, TO KEEP THEM FROM STARTING THIER OWN GIG AND EXPOSING HOW TERRIBLE THEY ACTUALLY ARE! They even have to travel outside the city to dispose of their waste!!!! Absolutely awful experience - complete waste of time…read more Republic Services in Missoula has been nothing but a disaster from start to finish. I tried to get a 4-yard container to dispose of cardboard. Sounds simple, right? Nope. I was first told everything was good to go and was asked to sign a service agreement. After hearing absolutely nothing for three weeks, I called back only to find out they never finalized it. They flat-out admitted they dropped the ball. So then I get connected with a new agent, go through the entire process again, sign service agreement #2, and am given a delivery date. Delivery day comes... and surprise -- no container. Nothing. No call. No explanation. I call AGAIN and am told it's been "fixed." Then later, I receive a phone call saying they won't even service my area. So let me get this straight: Two signed service agreements Weeks of waiting Multiple phone calls Missed delivery Zero communication And in the end, they don't even provide service This company is completely disorganized, unreliable, and clearly does not value customers' time. If you need dependable waste service, look elsewhere. Republic Services will gladly waste weeks of your time only to tell you they can't help you anyway. Avoid at all costs.
