The shop is extremely clean. It's not a mess like some of the other shops in town, where they have holes in furniture and magazines and papers everywhere. Also, you don't have to worry about the language of the barbers and clients around children. I love that you can book an appointment online. After talking with her, she explained the different treatments she offers, I went ahead and booked an appointment for microplaning with her before hanging up. I love the name, a play on "steel" scissors (hair cuts) and steam (facial services). My facial was very relaxing. It was nice to chat with Aubrey as she worked. She does the microplaning first - the skin is dry, so the razor gets more of the dead skin as opposed to wetting the skin. My appointment lasted an hour and a half. I felt I definitely got my money's worth ($70).

What made it even more frustrating was that the place was practically empty. There was only one barber cutting hair, and the receptionist was sitting behind the desk on her phone. There was no rush, no crowd, and no reason we couldn't have been accommodated. Customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately, this location completely missed the mark. The only downside to that is sometimes it's Barber Shop will be open and no stylist will be available. Or you'll have times when somebody has to go somewhere and come back. Many times the conversations are too personal and they can work on it probably having better fixtures or Furniture in the location some stylist accept credit and some don't. If you want a good experience is best to probably get a Barber's business card and set an appointment because they do have talented Barbers at the shop.
