Welp, this little gem in German Village is just what I was looking for! It's an old house converted into a barbershop with 1-2 chairs per room. The decor is awesome and it feels very cozy. Booking online is a breeze, and no credit card is required to make an appointment for a regular haircut ($35). There is free street parking on High St or some of the side streets. I've been to two different barbers, and both did a great job on the cut. Personalities were surely different though -- one was very chatty, the other not so much. Thus, whether you like to chat it up, or just relax and zone out, you'll be able to find someone at Goodfellow's.

Dave is always on time. He confirms what I want, he tells me some stories, and then 20-25 minutes later, I look great -- and for half the price of what I used to pay in Seattle. I'll say straight out that I'm never very happy with my hair coming out of any barber, so getting it short and manageable is really me end goal. What made me a repeat customer is a couple things. First off, my haircuts have never taken more than 8 minutes. Tops. Then he has this fantastic little shop vac that he uses to suction off loose hair before you go. None of that blow drier nonsense which just shoots the hair into the nooks and crannies of my ears and usually into my clothes. Lastly it's cheap. $7 for a men's haircut. Just be sure to let him know what his tip is before he rings up your credit card. He doesn't keep the transaction open for you to add one afterwards.
