Man, has this place gone downhill or what?! Hair Saloon used to be a great place to get a decent…read morehaircut... or at least a great by the general geographic area's standards. Not anymore! My son and I had our go to person for years and she was wonderful. After she left, we were bounced around from person to person none of whom seemed trained at all in the ways of hair cutting/styling. We kept going out of misguided loyalty, however. Finally, my wife had to step in (as she often does to get me to see what's obvious to everyone else) and tell me that both myself and my son have been getting awful haircuts for months. I don't mind looking like a doofus, but I don't want my son to... and I REALLY don't want to pay $50 for both of us to. Parting ways with Hair Saloon is now easier for me than parting hair is for the denizens Hair Saloon.

I was next in line, waiting, when a man opened the door and decided to turn out because it looked too busy. So my stylist decided to let him go ahead of me because "he just needed a neck trim." I was in the store before him, and checked in before him. He checked in at the store. Pretty damn rude and disrespectful of my time that I spent waiting. Wait times are ALWAYS screwed up at this place. If I could rate 0 stars I would, I will not be returning.

The stylist I requested was "leaving" so I didn't get a choice. Moving forward I will say no to Andy. I am not sure if she was having a bad day or what but I was so close to snapping on her. I did not want to cause a seen but she was very rude. she was slamming her guards and clippers around. Her body language and tone was completely negative. As far as how she treated my son was she was rough. He is four and yes you have to tell him multiple times to stop moving but that's what happens with kids. He has never complained of it hurting until today. After we left my four year old son said mommy that hurt. She was grabbing him and being very rough in general. Aside from all of that she was mumbling under her breath and honestly ruined the experience for us. My boyfriend highly recommends this location but after today I am not sure if we will come back. I am sure we will never let Andy touch my son again. After it was all said and done it cost $22 not including a tip. On the checkout screen 0 dollar tip is not an option. So I did the minimum amount which is $7. I do not believe she deserved what so ever. In the end I paid $29 dollars to only feel like a burden in someone's day and for my four year old to complain about pain on the side of his head. Do with this information as you please but I highly suggest you do not choose Andy as your stylist.
