We were looking 1 for a wig that would provide a comfortable look consistent with the style she already had and 2 for assistance with the experience of wearing a wig. We arrived without an appointment. On first impression, the selection was much wider than I expected and of a greater quality than we had seen at a chain beauty supply-- 1. Becky, the owner, gave us her full attention and consulted with my sister making recommendations based on my sister's current cut, color, shape of her face. She was very patient, didn't rush us and allowed us some personal time to review how we felt about each wig while my sister had them on-- 2 In addition to the above, Becky offered to shampoo and cut my sister's hair suggesting it would make her more comfortable while trying on wigs and lighten the load of the process of loosing her hair. And she told us she will be available to help my sister keep her wig in shape as needed. Becky's shop isn't in a convenient location for us, but because she met our needs as listed above and shared her own experience with her cancer, we felt our excursion, about 30 miles, to her location well worth the time and distance. If you are looking for a plain-spoken consultant for a wig to be worn during treatments for cancer, I recommend this shop and its proprietor, Becky Rodriguez.

They DID NOT shave my hair line and my lace wig is still on looking good after week 4. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I am a wig virgin, never wore one before and I was a little intimidated by the whole thing. The lady who helped me was patient and kind and she helped select the perfect wig. I haven't smiled like this since I cut my hair. Here is the breakdown on some of the effects they carry: Merle Norman Cosmetics- The only location in BCS where you can get it. I have been using this makeup company for years and love it. Plus they will give you a free makeover whether you just want a new way to wear your eye-makeup or you actually want an entire skin care lesson. Brighton Collectables- They have the biggest selection in BCS of jewelry, and I'm pretty sure the other stores that carry Brighton don't have their other products like handbags or shoes. The ladies that work here are very helpful and if they don't have a piece you're looking for they will special order it for you no problem. Vera Bradley- A few other places in town carry this line as well but none of them offer the personalized customer service that this location has as well as such a large selection. Hair-U-Wear- They have wigs and hair pieces out the wahzoo!! The hair pieces they carry are very high quality. I got one of the ponytail ones just for fun. I love using it when I'm having a bad hair day and believe it or not I get compliments! They also have a ton of little random gift ideas as well as clothes. The clothing is more geared toward women who are 40+ though. The store can be a little overwhelming with the amount of items that are packed into it but the ladies there are more than willing to help you search through it and I think they have been making more of an effort to organize it recently. I know you can probably already tell from this review that I love this store and highly suggest you try it!
