Super nice lady but my haircut turned out awful. It was lopsided with the fade on one side about 2" higher than the other side. I would have had her even it out but she couldn't tell it was lopsided...if you can't see the problem then how can you fix it?I left. Luckily I have a set of clippers at home and COVID has made me half decent at cutting my own hair so I decided to fix it myself. In the end I just have a really high fade on either side and long in the middle. Kind of like a mow hawk except I push it to the side. I should have know when the only pictures are a guy with a shaved head not looking particularly happy.

And, I was very impressed with how well the shop was put together with skateboard planks and art...with everything very evenly and meticulously spaced out. LOL! Simon cut my hair and did a great job. He is personable and friendly and has a great story. He took his time, got input from me about what I wanted, and delivered exactly that. We started talking about old punk bands and he played some of his band's music which was cool. (Sounded great, I'll definitely check them out!) With all of that and a skilled and friendly Barber, I thought the price made sense. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.... Rocky's an old time barber and been in business a long time. Recommended by my wife's family, Rocky is definitely old school. Gave me a true "Buddha Head" crew cut which will let me get a lot of days out of this buzz. He really liked my story of being from ID now, after bailing out of 30 years in Humboldt County, and moving to a free state. One of the other guys waiting for a hair job wanted to know what I meant by a "free state?" My opening for letting it all hang out: 1) we can carry a gun with no permit, concealed, 2) no one is banning straws, 3) we don't get charged a dime for a damn grocery sack, 4) we don't have no stinking sanctuary cities, 5) and a dozen other things.
