I went here today to pick up my updated version of Zoloft. I walked here with my Sakura kitkats, along with my two prescription medications that I needed to throw away. When I was talking to the pharmacist named Mara, I asked her if she could throw away my empty bag of Sakura kitkats. She happily threw it away for me. Mara also helped me unlock the blue box so that I can dispose my medication safely. I was thankful for her help. She was also reassuring to me when the cap on my new prescription was easy to remove. Attention upper management... I came in rushing to pick up my meds at 7:59pm on Wednesday 03/25/26. I understand that the pharmacy closes at 8pm so your two female employees working behind the counter need attention for a potential re-training on how to work with the public and not close cash wraps before the final hour. I am very disappointed with how I was treated and triggered to getting upset. I am a local small business owner and the way your two employees handled the situation needs recognition. I would not like it if my team was not valuing our customers and clients. These two women had an ego that is making you lose business. (Maria wearing scrubs, has curly hair -pathetic attitude- (the other one was wearing a polka dot blouse & I don't believe she was wearing a name tag) I highly encourage you involve your lost prevention team because now I will be changing to a new Pharmacy location closer to home. I have been coming to this location for years, can't even remember how long. I came in today. Only one person ahead of me. The lady didn't realize she had 2 RXs so she had to call around to her family members about the other RX. I mentioned that I was ready and if there was someone that could help me. The cashiers response "no, I will when I'm done" girl u could have AT LEAST JUST ASKED instead of being rude. And that's not even it all. The lady heard me ask and realized there was a line. She said oh she can go, the cashier she rang me up. I was behind the monitor signing for my RX, she asked card or cash and I gestured handing her my $20 bill. Her response " I'll take that as cash!" Store clerk was petty and had a stick up her ass. I went to this CVS because I had to pee really bad and figured I'd pick up some green tea extract and turmeric that I needed anyway. I didn't know if they carried green tea extract but I figured I could look around for it after I used the bathroom. Asked the lady for the code and she said in an unfriendly tone, "you have to buy something first"...like bitch please...So I had to looking around the store to see if they had green tea extract (they didn't) and checkout before she walked me back there and let me in. Couldn't even give me a code. Had to hold the door open for me and everything. Honestly kinda awkward but mostly just rude. Ambiance: this place is very dirty. The carpet is dirty and it smells inside like mold and an old building. (That's as best as I can describe it) Service: I wasn't greeted when I came in, the security guy isn't even paying attention. The pharmacy area is very dirty and the staff isn't the friendliest. I will say they did look busy and working on multiple orders from drive ups but their approach and verbiage isn't kind. My observation watching the pharmacy staff work with people who are coming in with their needs including my wife, they don't show compassion, rude is most certainly their first approach, kind isn't a behavior in their culture. I will repeat and say they seem to be filling orders quickly so in terms of working, they seem to be filling orders quick, in terms of customer service, I would say more training is required. read more

Love this pharmacy. Despite the other reviews I'm a regular customer here and have never had one issue here. The staff is nice and they seem to always go out of there way to help customers. I've been here various times and seen cashiers walk a customer to the items they are looking for. Can't get anymore convenient than that. Wish I could walk into any store and be guided exactly to what I'm looking for. Especially target cuz I tend to get a little lost a target sometimes (and by lost I mean I end up buying a whole bunch of other crap I didn't need at the moment) The manager Luis is helpful and has cleaned up the outside environment. Treats me as family . I've lived across the street for 30 years now and trust me when I tell you ITS WAYY WAY better than what it use to be. Every single time I walk into the store cashier always says welcome to cvs, how can I help. I even asked her if she gets tired of saying that she simply replies kinda but it feels nice when people actually greet back even if it's only 1 out of 50.. anyhow the pharmacy does take awhile but I can't imagine how many more patients they got after rite aid shutdown down the block. -We live right across the street from this store and we decided to stop by and pick up our prescriptions. The ladies at the pharmacy were very nice and helpful. We had to wait for our prescription to get filled but we didn't wait to long. -They only downside about this location is that is on Beach Blvd which is ghetto. I would not go alone at night for sure. They have a lot of security cameras around and a lot of them specially in the pharmacy section. Customer service is very good. Parking lot is somewhat small but there are a lot of open spots. read more

Up to today, I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars here, my pick as it is so close to my home. But, I am withdrawing my prescription drug refills to another location. I believe I have complained three or four times now, finding the bathroom closed, closed, closed--and you guessed it, closed. The manager has responded several times, the bathroom was out of service, and then twice now, "no public bathroom", including today, Sat 16 December, with the young man saying "we don't have no bathroom"; as of tomorrow, "you don't have no customer". You know, when you get older, and have a real problem--like I do--it is no joke to need a urinal and find they "don't have no" urinal. Especially when you can SEE it right there, door locked as it has been for months now. As a note, everyone who works there is really nice, no complaints with the people in general, but the bottom line is, though they are happy to receive THOUSANDS from this customer, that customer--"can piss himself" as far as they are concerned. Dear Manager, I have appreciated your kind replies, but honestly, don't bother anymore, just as I will not bother to come here, anymore. And good luck with your customers. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS CVS PHARMACY! I went to pick up a prescription last month and this creep went into the system, got my phone number and text me personally. I usually try to let things go, but this is not okay. This man should not be working in the medical field and contacting anyone for his personal pleasure. Too many times people sexually abuse/ harass others and nothing is done. Not only is this creepy, but it is breaking HIPPA policy and going against having dual relationships with a client/ medical staff. I called corporate and they had a female call me back. At first she was super nice and made me feel comfortable and said she would let me know what further actions were being made about this employee and this situation. I never received anymore updates and am not going to wait around for someone else to do something. Corporate was only watching out for their own back. WOW. Super disappointed with the encounter my boyfriend had today at this location. This isn't his first time here so he knows how things are. He drinks lots of waters so he always has to use the restroom most of the time whenever he goes somewhere. He went to pick up his medicine at the pharmacy. Then he went to the cashier and asked to use the restroom. She told him there isn't any public restrooms and then she changes it and says it's for customers only. First of all (There isn't a sign anywhere) that states this, 2nd of all the minute he picked up his medicine he is a customer. Because she said that he decided to just buy something again so he could use the restroom. He goes to pay then she walks away and tells him that she's not helping him cuz he called her names and why is he making it a big deal because of the restrooms? She ignores him and rings up another customer. This is absolute discrimination because my boyfriend is Hispanic and has a tattoo she didn't want to help him? He asks for the manager and the manager of course defends her employee and tells him that if he needed to use the restroom he could've asked at the pharmacy. Instead of offering him to use the restroom while he's holding his medications she's absolutely unaware if he has any condition that causes him to have to use the restroom never once did she offer. He goes to the pharmacy and asked them to open it and they told him he needs a code that the cashiers have, so he goes to the manager and asked why did she lie, and she said she never lied that she could just open it. She told my bf that she would call the police. For what exactly? He never did anything threatening. Like a human being he just spoke to them and mentioned his problem that he had with the employee. Absolute discrimination at this store not sure how this "manager" is still working while she defended her employee. He asked for their names and they didn't want to give it to him until the 3rd time he repeated himself. I get it that there's a lot of transients nearby. But he already picked up his medicine before asking to use the restroom. We will never be returning to this location that tolerates this type of behaviors from their employees and that has managers like this? This location has the worst customer service, and the employees are not educated about their own store. The seasoned employees train newer employees by giving attitude to all their customers, so the new employees are horrible at their job. It is so close to where I reside, so I am forced to come here. The employee at the register told my boyfriend someone was using the restroom and so when I came up to her to pay for my merchandise I said, so my boyfriend isn't allowed to use the restroom? Her next answer was that there weren't enough employees to let him into the restroom. They should really get it together. Goodness, this location is a complete joke. I've been trying out waterpik's and was told so long as I keep my receipt I could return them no problem. Well, I had 3 that needed to be returned because none of them were to my liking. The return wasn't a problem, though I'm not understanding why she was having her own issues with the amount of the return. That has nothing to do with CVS though, she was just weird. Anyways, I walk in, the cashier is ringing up a lady... 5 minutes goes by, she's STILL ringing up the same lady... 2 more minutes, okay, seriously, can we call someone. I'm a pretty patient person, I've been working with special needs kids for 7 years, I've learned very well over the years, but when it starts getting into helping the same person for more than 2 minutes at a place like that, its time to call for a backup cashier. I keep trying to get my prescription filled and cant and when I keep calling the pharmacy they keep telling that they submitted it for my Doctor for approval I ask them what doctor and it's NOT A DOCTOR THAT TREATS ME.
