Be careful about relying on this location as a 24-hour store. At first they were just, recently, closing from 1:30-2 a.m. due to being short staffed during staff breaks. But now they will just straight-up close at a certain point for the rest of the night and not reopen till 5:30 or 6 a.m. Sometimes there is a sign on the door saying the pharmacy drive-thru is still open. But this new thing of unpredictably closing when they feel like it is problematic for the surrounding community. We have so few late-night options besides 7-Eleven. And the overnight closure also means customers are no longer able to pick up BOPIS orders. No more getting items delivered via UberEats, Instacart & other couriers, either. We need a reliably 24-hour store in this community. Unfortunately, Walgreens at Brookhurst and Orangethorpe no longer seems to be it. I hope it's temporary. read more

They're open 24 hours and are fully stocked. Stop by here after to pick-up cleaning supplies as I think Walgreens always has some sort of coupon or sale whenever I need something. I picked up brand name products and saved $7 total after manufacturer coupons and store deals that the app let me know about. Line moved fast, parking lot is large and there's plenty of parking and they're conveniently located off of Orangethorpe ave and the 91 freeway. read more

I believe Leslie was working tonight/morning. Time was around 2am and Leslie was working the register and photo department all by herself. (I had to pick up some photos) she kept a great attitude and energy despite being short handed and making it run. She deserves all the recognition!! Shout out to the kind staff and the manager, Sushil, who took the time to hear out my concerns. I've been bike commuting instead of driving for health reasons, but there's no bike rack within a reasonable distance from the entrance. After some initially hostile interactions with the staff and pharmacy trying to find a way to get my meds without leaving my bike vulnerable to theft, I finally managed to complete my shopping, then spoke with the manager to ask if a bike rack could be installed near the entrance. He was very understanding and said he would see what he could do, but in the meantime, my bike and I are welcome anytime. We've been going to this Walgreens for close to 2 decades, and the staff has always been pleasant despite how rough the area is and how many weird interactions they probably get into throughout the day. I'm happy to continue being a customer here, with or without a car. read more

Called and was told passport pictures can be taken until 9:30pm. Walked in at 8:30 only to wait 30 mins. Someone finally came out and I told him what I needed, but he helped other people first since I thought it was gonna be faster. Then another guy came out only to tell me it's not working!!! The drive thru is excruciating to go through. Even if you have patience, it is so painfully slow that you will lose it all. I understand the pharmacy is understaffed and in a busy area. You're better off going into the actual store. It's a bit upsetting because drive thrus are meant to be faster than going in the store. read more

As customer service goes for cashiers , I'd say i go somewhere else. THIS PHARMACY OVERDOSED THEIR PATIENT BY A MEDICATION MIX UP!!!! My boyfriend picks up medication here. They refilled his metformin and Gabapentin prescriptions this past month... mind you he takes 1000 mg of metformin two times a day so thats already 2000 mg a day of metformin. his Gabapentin bottle refill was given to him mixed up with metformin and Gabapentin together so he's been taking give or take 4000 mg a day of metformin because of their mistake. He's been severely sick dehydrated And has been having heart palpitations. This pharmacy has no remorse compassion just doesn't care about patients like they should. How could someone make a mistake so big on medication that is very major! Pharmacy manager needs a class on etiquette towards their patients and customer service. Please take your business elsewhere. This store's photo department failed me twice in a row. They were supposed to print a special order, and didn't do it until the next day. Then the next day they promised to get a follow up with a dozen of the item printed at the promised time, and even though I called and confirmed they failed me again, and kept promising they would be ready in 15 min, 20 min. I come here often to pick up my mom's medication. This review is for their pharmacy and its staff. The staffs themselves are disorganized and slow. My biggest complaint is that A while ago they made a mistake on my mom's medication and gave her a medication with a higher MG causing her to become sick. When she brought this up to the pharmacy they attempted to fix it by not charging her for the correct medication. The staff here are incompetent. read more

I've been coming here all my life. The same building. I love their hardworking pharmacists. They don't always have the best cashiers at the front of the store but most of them are friendly. Sometimes you get the occasional guy that is cold and depressed. Don't forget to thank your cashiers and pharmacists with a smile! Oh, and I don't mind the homeless that sit outside peacefully. ... I might've already posted something on my DREADED experience with this "24 Hrs" pharmacy. ONLY 1 pharmacist on duty late late night/ early morning. "24 hrs. Pharmacy" isn't true. Pharmacy closes for 1 hr while pharmacist goes to lunch. Lunch time is vaguely set as 1-2 am but ultimately decided by the pharmacist. In my experience, my Rx wasn't ready after waiting for 2 hrs in my car, in the unlit VERY dark parking lot at midnight. I inquired again 1 a.m. with no answer due to lunch be break. I was livid. 1 hr later pharmacist still had NOT returned from lunch break. 2:15 a.m. and I blew my top, exiting my vehicle having to enter the store location. Pharmacy gated down and secure as if fully closed. I started banging on the secured gates; and surprisingly the pharmacist answered in a low voice from what sounded like low behind the counter. I questioned her tardiness and she claimed to have left for lunch late. Keep in mind: Other customers are also waiting for Rx. The awkwardness of the situation could only be explained as pharmacist takes advantage of being alone and self medicates or in fact was genuinely tired / sleepy in her own right. She quickly gathered herself. Opened gates and proceeded to process my Rx @ checkout. After several attempts, she had made a mistake with my meds. read more

CHECK YOUR MEDICINE BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!!! I went to get my son's medicine. The medicine original form is powder,but the pharmacist should mix the powder with a solution to give to the kid, but they skipped this step and gave me the powder with instructions to give the kid "4 SPOONS". Well, I'm no pharmacist but thank God my sister told me to mix it with water and not to give my son 4 spoons of powder. This could've caused serious damage. This review is solely in regard to the pharmacy. I tried to refill a prescription on the app. But, I kept getting a message that insurance was delayed. I recently got new health insurance. So, I added pictures of my health insurance card TWICE to the app when I got the error messages. The refills still got cancelled twice. I called and each person said they don't know why it's doing that. Why could they not look into the matter further? Instead, I drove to the store to give them my health insurance card so my prescription could go through. At least 8 cars were in line at 5 pm on a weekday - I picked a bad time to go. I went inside instead. I waited behind 5 people for 10-15 min and when I get to the front, they take my card and then tell me they don't take my insurance. LOL WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME THAT WHEN I CALLED TWICE ALREADY? Not to mention, the person assisting me was brand new, clearly stressed out, and didn't know how to answer any of my questions. 1/10 would avoid this place. read more

The most ridiculous policy ever! My wife and I are here to buy alcohol and as the lady carded my wife, she also asked for my ID. Since I didn't bring my wallet, she wouldn't sell to my wife. We went home to grab my ID, then my wife went in alone to make the purchase, the cashier still wouldn't sell it to my wife. I had to run in to officially show my ID (35yrs old). I asked the lady, if we brought our 6 years child would she card our child? She said no because that's a child. So then I asked her, why the heck are you going to card another adult and not the child? I'm not the one making the purchase?! What a stupid policy. read more

I was at this Walgreens over the weekend to order & pick up my medication from the pharmacy. I have to say, the pharmacists there were phenomenal and very professional. It was first time at this location I usually go to cvs but they didn't have my medication. Thankfully this Walgreens did! Stopped by to pick up a few things this evening. Unfriendly cashiers in the front, and extremely long line at the pharmacy and in the drive thru window. Ended up opting for inside pick up since I needed a few things. I kid you not there was at least 10 cars in the drive thru, and over 11 people in line in the store. During this, there was only ONE PHARMACIST in the drive thru, and one helping the in store guests. This location needs to do better! Especially during a pandemic, there are many sick people that need meds in an urgent manner. If that's you, DO NOT get your prescription filled here!!! read more

We come to the pharmacy to pick up our precautions hoping to feel better. Somehow the prescriptions I called to confirm were received, before driving over and was told would be ready by a certain time were "stuck on their system" and I had to wait. No other cars behind me in the drive thru lane but was told to go park and come back. The issue is the customer service and lack of empathy. It's late, I'm sick, tired and want to feel better.
