11.13.25 I have been here dozens of times over the past several years and it's always been favorable experiences. Well, my most recent time here was a slight exception. I was here most recently two Mondays ago on 11.3.25 but after midnight, so technically it was 11.4.25 with this most recent trip my experience turned from favorable to truly exceptional service above and beyond. The reason for this phenomenal change are due to Augusta & Ali. These two employees of yours are two fabulous individuals who you should be so happy that you have them working for you. They truly shined for their exemplary service in helping me beyond their primary job duties. I stopped in and bought a few snacks & toiletries and was quickly on my way. After I left, I was in my vehicle and of course checking things here on yelp while still sitting in the CVS parking lot for quite a while. When I tried to start my vehicle it didn't start. I called my motor club and set up for a jump. Long story shorter, the motor club called a couple times with delays and there i was waiting for an hour in a half getting cold. I decided to go back into the store to ask if anyone possibly had some jumper cables. Augusta and Ali were so freakin kind and selfless that they blew me away. Now lemme lay it out a little more for you. It's literally 2:00/2:30 a.m. in the morning/ night. They didn't hesitate to check and Augusta ended up having jumper cables in her car. I couldn't believe it. She said, "my daddy didn't raise no fool" I told her I can see that. Vehicle jumped right away and on my way home. I tried to give her and him some cash. They weren't having it. She said she believes in paying it forward so good fortune comes back to you. Told her I agree but still take the money. She wouldn't. Neither would he. I threw some cash into her car and told her I insist. I asked for their names so that I could recognize them online. They were extremely selfless and a true Blessing for me in my time of need. Oh, update, the motor club had called just before I went inside asking for help and had told me it'd be an additional hour in a half possibly or to leave the vehicle and they'd get someone there in the morning. They were having a hard time getting someone to me. Thank you thank you Augusta & Ali for your true service in helping me out big time. Love you two people. Shwanks The store itself is always in good clean order. Not disheveled like I've seen in other locations. There's a good size parking lot in a good location with all the faxt food restaurants close by including the Cumberland Farms right across the street. Awful experience with this pharmacy. I got my Covid booster here. Told me to sit in the waiting room. It was filled with people waiting to get a Covid test. I got Covid thanks to that. They told my sister to be with an adult despite the fact she's legally no longer a minor. When masks were in mandate, little kids were running all over the place without masks on. read more

I want to thank the pharmacy manager for helping me like he did. He was compassionate and very understanding. In this day and age people care less and less. Not happy now. I transferred my prescription to this store about 4 month ago from a smaller cvs because the smaller store had trouble getting my short supply medication. This store was ok until now. I'm waiting 12 days for a prescription which the manufacturer says is in free supply but this cvs store is saying it's back ordered and might be weeks. No one there is trying to get it from another location. They just keep saying "sorry it's out of stock" which is not even true as I went to Amazon Pharmacy and got it there. No problem and 24 hour turnaround. The Ansonia CVS people I've dealt with over the past two weeks have been completely unhelpful. I won't be back. read more

I am on day 3 of the Pharmacist and pharmacy techs refusing to call the help desk of my insurance company, to get the proper information for my prescription to be refilled. The staff is lazy and doesn't want to do the work necessary for patients to access the medicine prescribed by their doctors, if it means taking more than 1 minute to go out of their way. Their solution is for you to come into the store, even when the insurance information is already online. That is an unfair ask for something that can be provided over the phone, by someone who is already not feeling well. They care nothing about the patient/customer. The pharmacist also hung up on me, when asking him about my prescription. I was also told I would be called back, which lets me know they know they're supposed to call the help desk for prescription help. I called at 3:40am and 7:30am and wasn't helped either time. VERY unprofessional, someone needs to coach him and advise him he shouldn't hang up on people and should also call the help desk if a customer is telling you their prescription is covered. They just want to throw a prescription drug card on orders, instead of having to wait for the customer to give them their information. It wasn't like this before and it's not like this at any other CVS, they shouldn't be able to make up policies. I'm taking this up to corporate, because in the service and healthcare (by extension) industry, patient's health should be top priority and unfortunately it just isn't at this CVS. read more

The terrible pharmacist (of you could really call him that) and liar that said he managed the pharmacy and store was despicable. I went to have my ADHD medication refilled and he said you no have prior authorization after going in circles for about 4 minutes he then said call doctor and insurance and refused to help just printed out multiple papers with a number on it and said I have to call it. I reluctantly left the drive thru and called the number that said I had to be a pharmacist or doctor. So I had to turn around in BJ's parking lot and go back as they closed at 730 and it was 722. The barely English speaking ***hole who was powwowing around the computer came over after I said Sir about 5 times he came over and said you not my only patient you wait. I said no you have to call this number by 730 he went and argued for about 15 minutes still being an ***hole and I called him as such. He said you owe me apology I said no you should do your job. He walked around in a circle then came and got the number (so many patients right) calls the number to find out that my doctor's office filed the wrong authorization. So instead of me waiting an hour in the drive through line to be argued dismissed talked down to and sent on a goose chase for a number as a so called pharmacist for 5 years should know he had to call and then having to turn around just to argue again for him to do the job he is hired to do and argued with he has the audacity to threaten to delete my prescription as I said but you're not a prescriber and he said kiss your vyvanse goodbye if you no apologize for calling me an asshole and refused to acknowledge the fact that he could have done his job and not been a douchebag from the beginning. Terrible pharmacy with drug addicts as technicians and pharmacist that abuse medications and can't even do their job. I mostly go here for scripts, so this is how I must rate them. I nearly always encounter frustration at the pharmacy. Either the wait is unbearably long with only one cashier, the script isn't ready, or they have fouled it up somehow. I can not understand how they can only have one cashier on register at their peak customer pick-up times. I too am not impressed with the front register cashiers. They typically are slow (mentally) and can not function through any type of interruption. I admit, there are many items available that someone might want for their household, over the counter medicine cabinet, beauty supplies, household cleaning, snacks and quick pick ups; but their prices are a little bit higher too. It should get one to two extra stars for convenience, buuuttt, nope, not doing it. read more

Awful pharmacy. Stay away. It's a large store in a high traffic area. It's clear that the pharmacy staff have no concern for or interest in the customers or the business. They're not only unhelpful but are outright rude and antagonistic. Apparently whether customers return or not has no effect on the staff, and it shows. They have no concern for how long they keep customers waiting. When I was there, they lost my prescriptions. I had received a text that they were ready for pick up. When I got there, the staff couldn't find them. Then they claimed the doctor never responded to the refill request, even though they had texted that it was ready. I later checked with my doctor, who said she definitely submitted the refill request. Throughout the time, they were totally rude and unhelpful, trying to blame my doctor, but didn't call my doctor to try to solve the problem. Best CVS ever! (oooh and my bro works here...go bother him and ask him if he can price check some tampons, he likes that.) Anyway, this is a huge store. It's clean and pretty well-organized. They have a big selection of cosmetics, some grocery items, stationary supplies, hygiene products, etc. Everything you'd expect a big drugstore to have. They also carry some fun random items like those As Seen on TV products. My friend and I have (by accident usually) spent an hour or so in here just browsing. One star off for the long lines at the pharmacy though. But seriously.....I love this store..... read more

I've always had a positive experience with this store. My wife and I have been frequenting this store since it opened. The pharmacists have often gone the extra mile in several situations and I find the pharmacy technicians, store associates, and supervisors to be friendly and helpful. Just yesterday I was not feeling well and needed to pick up a medication. Pharmacy tech, Jackie, brightened my day with her bright smile and great attitude.
