Not sure what's going on with all of the negative reviews but I haven't felt this way here. And like I said, ink here dozens upon dozens of times. Their gas is priced in line with others in this area. This Cumbies is another easy access to route 8 north or south within seconds to a minute depending on which direction you're heading. The staff so the best they can. Don't slay them. They're trying to make ends meet. They've got bills to pay like the rest of us. Are they sometimes preoccupied talking to each other when they should be taking care of us? Yes, but which convenience store is different than this? Anywhere USA we get the same. They're not bad. They get to us within good time. I know it's not ideal but it happens. We have to deal with it. It's all good. And yes, sometimes had pumps are inoperable for a short period. Oh well. Again, which gas station hasn't had broken gas pumps from time to time? This place is central located and they do a ton of business. They're very heavily used pumps. And this place has been here forever. I haven't tried any of their warmed snack foods. I do stay away from gas station pizza and stuff like that but hey, it fills a void for others. I don't judge. To each their own. All in all this is a clean area. Pumps clean for the most part. Clean store and bathrooms. Wide variety of snacks and drinks. They do fine and they're convenient. You guys do you. I went in the other night and dropped like a dollar 50 in change and wanted the the few cents That…read morerolled underneath the ice cream freezer. The guy was really rude! I never seen this guy there before. He was a lot younger than the normal dude who works nights. He asked me how much I dropped I told him the 1.50 but got all but the one quarter under the freezer He said "oh it's no problem I'll get it later" so I thought oh he'll just take it off my bill. So when I was done and ready to pay he tells me 1.00 cuz I just got a ice tea. I gave him the money and asked if he put the dropped Quarter in that and if I had to pay 75 instead of the dollar. He said "....nooooo..? Why would I" ( I told him to keep the penny btw ) and asked for it he than literally grunts towards me and said"I told you I'll get it later" and I told him "I'm not being a bitch, but I just want the .25 I dropped I know it's not that much but I just don't want to leave it." And in his rude ass voice again he says "you know I guess I'll give it to you!" I'm good at picking up people if they say a joke or just are serious... he was DEFINITELY 100% serous! .... 11.13.25 I have been here dozens of times over the past…read moreseveral years and it's always been favorable experiences. Well, my most recent time here was a slight exception. I was here most recently two Mondays ago on 11.3.25 but after midnight, so technically it was 11.4.25 with this most recent trip my experience turned from favorable to truly exceptional service above and beyond. The reason for this phenomenal change are due to Augusta & Ali. These two employees of yours are two fabulous individuals who you should be so happy that you have them working for you. They truly shined for their exemplary service in helping me beyond their primary job duties. I stopped in and bought a few snacks & toiletries and was quickly on my way. After I left, I was in my vehicle and of course checking things here on yelp while still sitting in the CVS parking lot for quite a while. When I tried to start my vehicle it didn't start. I called my motor club and set up for a jump. Long story shorter, the motor club called a couple times with delays and there i was waiting for an hour in a half getting cold. I decided to go back into the store to ask if anyone possibly had some jumper cables. Augusta and Ali were so freakin kind and selfless that they blew me away. Now lemme lay it out a little more for you. It's literally 2:00/2:30 a.m. in the morning/ night. They didn't hesitate to check and Augusta ended up having jumper cables in her car. I couldn't believe it. She said, "my daddy didn't raise no fool" I told her I can see that. Vehicle jumped right away and on my way home. I tried to give her and him some cash. They weren't having it. She said she believes in paying it forward so good fortune comes back to you. Told her I agree but still take the money. She wouldn't. Neither would he. I threw some cash into her car and told her I insist. I asked for their names so that I could recognize them online. They were extremely selfless and a true Blessing for me in my time of need. Oh, update, the motor club had called just before I went inside asking for help and had told me it'd be an additional hour in a half possibly or to leave the vehicle and they'd get someone there in the morning. They were having a hard time getting someone to me. Thank you thank you Augusta & Ali for your true service in helping me out big time. Love you two people. Shwanks The store itself is always in good clean order. Not disheveled like I've seen in other locations. There's a good size parking lot in a good location with all the faxt food restaurants close by including the Cumberland Farms right across the street. Always good service and always stocked up well.
