While they have a small selection of over the counter products, the emphasis here is a well staffed and helpful pharmacy. The pharmacy team is both knowledgeable and personable. I like it so much so that I have transferred all my prescriptions to Prescriptions to Geaux. I have had enough of the big chain drugstores, and decided to go with a local and dependable business that actually seems to care about me. So, go for a pharmacy that specializes in making sure you get your prescriptions, and you can have a pleasant experience while doing so. We have been in diaper rash hell for my daughters whole 2 months of life. In a last ditch effort our pediatrician called in a bunch of different things she wanted us to mix together and try. Well the pharmacist, Gerry, called me and let me know that he makes a cream in house that contains basically all the ingredients the doctor called in but for cheaper than a compounding pharmacy. Beware Parker's Pharmacy…read more As some of you may know there has been a national Adderall shortage and it's been difficult for those of us with ADHD to get our meds filled for the past few months. Based on good feedback I've seen online I decided I would try to switch to Parker's Pharmacy because with Walgreens it takes so long to reach anyone to find out if they have it in stock. I called Parker's to see if they could fill it, and they told me they could not answer unless they had my RX in their system. I didn't think much of this at the time but given what has happened since I think this may have been the first red flag. I got my doctor to send them my RX and they then told me they wouldn't fill it unless I could transfer some other prescriptions to them as well because they wanted to "avoid scrutiny from the FDA". When I explained to them that this was the only RX I take, they said it was store policy that they couldn't prescribe just my Adderall. This certainly seems suspicious and I suspect they are just hoarding the drug because it's so hard to find right now. All this marketing about being locally owned and operated doesn't amount to anything when they are refusing to fill prescriptions for the local community.

Parker's made it so easy to switch all my prescriptions online, they have an app that allows you to easily communicate, and my doctor says they are hands down the most responsive and problem-solving pharmacy she has worked with in both LA and CA. The staff are so friendly every time I come in, their drive thru is convenient, and they offer CBD and typical over the counter products. Their hours aren't as convenient as a bigger pharmacy, but their customer service makes it worth it in my opinion! Give them a chance you won't regret it.

Worst Pharmacy in the area. Walgreens says they are "1200…read morescripts behind." That sounds like a YOU problem and NOT mine. I NEED MY MEDICINE. Where does the nightmare begin... Everytime you come here- expect to wait in line for an hour or so. They have one line which is for all drop offs, consultations and pickups. If you try to get someone on the phone it's nearly impossible. You will call and be on hold for an hour and a half and than the recording will say they are on break for 30 mins. This can happen at 10:45am, 1pm or even 6pm. Than when you wait that out- the system will hang up on you. Now, hurricane Ida came. I tried to pick up my scripts 2 days early because it's a hurricane. Waited in line for an hour. Pharmacist says nope we can't fill it. The law states you can have your script up to 2 days early. Pharmacist will not give you your prescription slip back either so you can have it filled elsewhere. 2nd attempt next day over 1 hr in line. Yielded same results. Day 3 storm arrives. Day 4 showed up at store.. nope. closed.. systems are down Day 5 store opens but then they close the doors without warning and still won't give me my prescription back. Day 6 is tomorrow. I'll go waste another 2 hours out of my day and will probably leave with no prescription. I tried to call my doctor's office to have the prescription called in elsewhere. They can't and say their hands are tied- because walgreens has my prescription slip. They told me to get my prescription slip from walgreens. A vicious, horrible cycle. Update: Day 6 today. I was told they would be open 8-4 today. Showed up at 9:30am only to be told the store was open but the pharmacy was STILL CLOSED. No one answers phone even when you try photo or any other department. I see the pharmacy is open at other locations but can't get my prescription transfered on app and can't get in touch with store. Try again tomorrow. That's DAY 7.

You don't get a lot of frills as far as... you can refill from an app etc...like you can with some big name pharmacies and they don't have night hours etc, but the personal service you get is fantastic. You can talk directly to the pharmacist even from the window and they are always very quick and efficient.
