It went through a stretch with some employee choices that left me scratching my head but lately they've all be too notch - friendly and helpful. Here's what they need to work on. It's only one thing. Do something about the number of bums and panhandlers that hang out by the front door to get you coming and going. It's ridiculous. Almost expect to have an interaction with one, two, maybe three of them on every visit. Why do they think a pharmacy is a good place to panhandle? People are already sick and going there for a reason. Catch them at Starbucks instead. AND, it's not just a simple 'can you spare a dime' bums, it's they 'hey, can I ask you a question' bums. Just ask me for money, don't passive-aggressively try to act deep on me. You're a bum, not Plato. Last night I'd made it all the way to my vehicle as the panhandler was occupied on something else. I thought I'd made it. Pushed the unlock button on my keychain then quick footsteps running behind me followed by, 'Excuse me, Sir. Can I speak to you briefly about something important?' CRINGE! No but if you need money, here's a few bucks. Do something about it, Walgreens. It's getting to be out of hand and making the whole location seem shady which it isn't!

This one is on the way to the Plant, is easily accessible off the road, and has what you'd expect for a Walgreens. I had to get it transferred to another Walgreens just to get it filled. That location told me it wasn't a problem and was nicer. I stopped in to get cash back at the register and this fool doesnt offer a hello, how you doin, nada. Just a Do you have a CVS card. I didnt have one and he sure didnt offer up a quick number to use like their ever so helpful competitors. Lame. I asked the people in line, and yes I was that person who held it up for a whole $1.25 because not today satan, or Justin. So the guy didnt have his card and the number didnt register. So...lets delay the line more, Justin and sign me up so the people in the back know just how kind and helpful you are. So I get my ever so useless CVS card and get my little cash back and my gosh dont let me both you, Justin. I need all 5's please. I mean forbid I ask for change from a cashier?! Bonus, the receipt tape ran out for the customers in front of me and you know they did ask for a receipt. Beware Parker's Pharmacy…read more As some of you may know there has been a national Adderall shortage and it's been difficult for those of us with ADHD to get our meds filled for the past few months. Based on good feedback I've seen online I decided I would try to switch to Parker's Pharmacy because with Walgreens it takes so long to reach anyone to find out if they have it in stock. I called Parker's to see if they could fill it, and they told me they could not answer unless they had my RX in their system. I didn't think much of this at the time but given what has happened since I think this may have been the first red flag. I got my doctor to send them my RX and they then told me they wouldn't fill it unless I could transfer some other prescriptions to them as well because they wanted to "avoid scrutiny from the FDA". When I explained to them that this was the only RX I take, they said it was store policy that they couldn't prescribe just my Adderall. This certainly seems suspicious and I suspect they are just hoarding the drug because it's so hard to find right now. All this marketing about being locally owned and operated doesn't amount to anything when they are refusing to fill prescriptions for the local community.

Parker's made it so easy to switch all my prescriptions online, they have an app that allows you to easily communicate, and my doctor says they are hands down the most responsive and problem-solving pharmacy she has worked with in both LA and CA. The staff are so friendly every time I come in, their drive thru is convenient, and they offer CBD and typical over the counter products. Their hours aren't as convenient as a bigger pharmacy, but their customer service makes it worth it in my opinion! Give them a chance you won't regret it.
