I got home went to redeem it…read moreand it gave me an error saying the card wasn't activated. i looked at my receipt and it says the card was activated. i walk back to the circle k (now 4 hours after i bought it) tell this old guy at the counter and show him the receipt, the giftcard, and tell him the issue. he then tells me i need to give him ANOTHER $35 to activate the card. i told him and pointed to the receipt saying i did that already when i ORIGINALLY CAME IN TO BUY THE CARD. he then tells me he cant do anything and needs the money in order to activate the card THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR. he had the biggest attitude and told me it wasnt an issue for him and if i wanted anything to be done to come back later when the manager was here. DONT TRY BUYING GIFTCARDS HERE YOU WILL POTENTIALLY BE SCAMMED!

First trip I bought 6 drinks and laundry soap for $10. Second trip was cigarettes at a hefty price of $5.97 but I don't know if that is normal for Indiana or not. We usually buy cigarettes in Missouri when we come up here, we were just a day short. Considering CVS is 0.6 miles and this place is like 0.1, honestly I would walk here instead of CVS in the summer. I only gave it 3 stars because they aren't too friendly and the prices are a bit expensive but it won't deter me from getting there and back to my room in ~5 minutes.

I didn't know it was there previously. Ace Hardware used to be my favorite store but RK has replaced them, primarily because in addition to selling most of what Ace has, RK has clothes, shoes, trailers, trailer hitches, cat food, chickens and a candy aisle. Plus they have a limited selection of guns and ammunition. Although I have never bought a gun from RK, I regularly buy ammunition from them because it is reasonably priced and available. I live rurally and this store fits my needs so much more. Even though their high end shirts (Ariat) were priced a full ten dollars more than the Martinsville and Greenwood locations, I found three Lincoln short sleeve shirts for $22 each. A helpful employee helped me sort out what LR and LT means for Lincoln clothing. These labels are on the hangers as well as the shirts themselves. Three cashier lanes were open plus Customer Service was handling a line of their own. There were about four customers in each line but they seemed to be moving okay. Regardless, RK opened up another lane while I was next to pay in my line. Good customer service here.

Their selection is AMAZING! They have a ton of brands, and the prices are pretty good. They seem to have changed the dog treat selection, and I can no longer find my dogs favorite treat. The toys they offer are ok. From what I can tell, they don't offer any rawhide treats, only alternatives. If you ever try one, look at the list of ingredients. Sometimes there is stuff in there I just don't think a dog needs in their body. And one caveat, this review is primarily based on things I shop for. Some departments seemed like an afterthought. They have a big but expensive clothing section, and a nice selection of snacks. The bagged candy is a really good deal. I highly recommend the chocolate covered raisins! They have unique and hard to find items like jewelweed soap or balm for poison ivy and Lava soap. They always have something new in their seasonal area, and during the spring and summer have very cool things. The cat supply area is also very well stocked, and they have a nice selection of cat trees. I used to get a pretty simple one my cats always enjoyed. Overall, it's close to one stop shopping if you don't need food. I don't go there a lot, but I know I can count on them for what I want when I go.

We sued to live walking…read moredistance from here, and it's the easiest downtown location for late night snacks, ice cream, etc. Also one of the few places I could find Jalapeno Cheetos in Bloomington. My one gripe with this store though is that they stopped selling Square Donuts, which makes me sad, because Square Donuts isn't open much, and this used to be the easiest place to find them! We are both 21 years old and had multiple forms of identification! She was extremely rude and to us when we said we could called a non emergency officer to verify our ids and she stated she would no longer sell to us. I can't even believe how rude this woman was. I plan on calling someone higher in management tomorrow. I live near this gas station and always go here so she clearly must be new. How sad, they are desperate for employees I guess....

The attitude and atmosphere when being at the store is much more pleasant than before. Props to the new management team and great success in the future. We as customers; valued customers, want to know you do care about having our business. We could go to any of the other convenience stores on every corner in Bloomington.
