I have had the same experience with the same pharmacy clerk more than once. I have the red Extra Care Card in my app, which clearly states, 'Faster Pickup' and 'For prescription pickup and Extra Care Savings'. CVS apparently has 2 cards in the app, there is a blue card for the drive thru and it's clearly marked that way. This particular clerk can't seem to find my information by scanning the red card ever. I believe this is the 3rd time I've had this happen with her and only her. I never have an issue with any other clerk, ever. Today she wouldn't scan the card. She had me scan it after she tried to tell me that my prescriptions weren't going to come up with the red card. They did, as they always have with other clerks. I showed her exactly what it said. She then told me I don't have a card on file. I do, as a matter of fact, I picked up a prescription last week with the same exact information from the CVS app. I didn't have to take out my card or phone to pay. Every single time I've dealt with this particular person, she cannot find my card. Then she proceeds to tell me it's not on file. It shows that it's available in the app. This might seem like a minor inconvenience, but why should I have a card on file to pay for my prescriptions, if I'm going to be told it's not available? I'm done with this CVS. I've had other issues in the past. This was the last straw. Switching to Capsule. I'll shop at Walgreens from now on for anything else I might need. read more

I have to agree with every 1 Star Comment on here - This is unacceptable Customer Service. The won't even answer the phone. Called for over 2 hours straight, no answer. Finally decided to go via the Pharmacy to see if you I could get someone to answer. Well after navigating through the horrible automated voice activated answering prompts, I got to a place where I could leave a message for the Pharmacy. The Pharmacist called me back within 10 mins and was so Rude and dismissive. She stated that someone from the store was in front of her and she would transfer me so that I could speak to her for the phone to ring twice and then hang up. Never received a call back although the Pharmacist called me and whomever she was speaking to while I was on the phone with her, never called me, knowing she didn't speak to me. One would think, she would have went to the pharmacist and say hey the call did not go through do you have a way of reaching that CUSTOMER. No, never got a call back and after being disconnected I tried to call back to the pharmacy, this time I was connected directly to the pharmacy and they phone just kept me on hold like they could see my number and did refused to answer. I hung up after realizing they weren't going to answer and called CVS Customer Relations. I am currently on hold with Corporate Customer Relations and that store is not even answering them, although they have back numbers. This type of stuff only happens in certain communities, this being one of them. But I called corporate and informed them that this is unacceptable, I blame the Store Manager for not making sure all calls are answered in a timely fashion to help assist with questions about products or services from this location. They really have to do better, I will call again next week to see if they answer the phone and if they don't I will be posting an update regarding their response. Side note, I get my scripts from Manhattan and never Ever had a problem with them answering the phone. I wonder why that is? read more

This is the worse CVS location I've been to in NY. The pharmacy waiting time is always long and although they seem to have a lot of workers the wait is always long. I took my dad in for the flu shot and I had an appointment but had to wait over 30 minutes to be told I had to wait another 20 minutes for his flu shot. Will never again make another appointment for anything pharmacy related in this store. I had to give 1 star because couldn't post my revenue without a star. read more

I just came out the hospital and went in looking for Vitamin C and Iron. I cannot bend at the waist or pick anything up due to my incisions. This rating has gone down down down. I understand in this neighborhood last week we lost Rite Aid two blocks further down the street we lost Walgreens the only other pharmacy in the area. They were slow before all this happened I went to the store to get my meds and the line was around the store. I left. I got on the phone for 3 days they kept me on hold for hours. I finally got a hold of someone in a back office that tried to help me get thru. They gave up and told my they thought the lines were down. Someone did follow up to find out what happened. After maybe 2 weeks I started getting texts saying if I didn't get my meds they'd be returned to the shelf. I called that other number they lady helping me said she didn't understand I had a card on file. Please send her her meds. Well one day I called and a woman answered and said we'll send it right out to you. Really? Smh. It's going to be worse now because they staff is so lax. They have very low energy. With that no one is going anywhere soon. So I just found out the small pharmacy is saying they'll take my scripts from No on. I can walk just one block and get my meds. I wish i could give this place NO stars. I regret the day i came here and wish i would of read these reviews before coming. I scheduled a COVID test at the drive thru. I made an appointment online for 10am and 10:10am for my child. I did not get tested until 11:35am. I was beyond upset. When i arrived at 10am there was four cars in front of me. Those same four cars remained there until my aunt went inside and gave them a peace of her mind. We have gone to other CVS sites and have never been waiting for more then 10 mins. We're in the middle of a pandemic and the women behind the window are moving at snail speed. Once my aunt got back into the car, the line magically began to move. I had a little bit of hope BUT when i made it to the window, i had to wait an additional 25mins and i cant help but feel like that was done on PURPOSE. The lady who was helping with the testing was on her phone DOING NOTHING. After waiting we knocker on the window to ask her what was taking so long. She claimed she was entering me into the system but i scheduled my appointment online. When i went to the window she asked for my confirmation #'s and confirmed all my info with me aka i was already in the system. So she was full of it. I will never come here again. EVER. read more

Employee answer the phone then hung up. I called back and I was sent to a full mailbox. 2 pharmacies in the area closed and this location cannot handle the load of prescriptions that need to be filled. read more

They finally opened up & I got in line wait about 10 min & I'm not sure who helped me out but I told them what medicine I needed & I needed to wait 15 minutes which was fine I did wait. This CVS is my bread & butter. I'm either in here or the Fine Fare across the street. I was so happy when this location opened its door within walking distance of my home. This CVS has so many good deals. One thing I love about CVS is their greeting card section--yes, I'm that person. This location has the most vast collection of greeting cards: Papyrus, Hallmark, cards with music, cards that pop-out, artisanal cards, money holders, and my favorite: blank cards. They also have a great selection of gift cards. This CVS has a great selection of food, too. (Sometimes if the line is too long at Fine Fare, I'll dart in here to see if CVS has it; 80% of the time I can find it here.) They have a Kodak Kiosk area if need you to print photos. (I would call ahead for that because it's down pretty frequently.) Also, the pharmacy staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and they move like a well-oiled machine. I'm glad I live close to this location because it saves my life in more ways than one. read more

I made an appointment for COVID-19 Test and waited in the drive-thru line for MORE THAN AN HOUR and finally when it came to us, she said they're done testing for today, and we have to reschedule for an appointment. A representative who said her name was spelled NY, picked up I told her what I was calling for she was supposed to be putting me on hold she actually sent me to a voicemail. So I have too much to say about this place. Worked here for a bit and I have to leave because the store is just not to my standards. whats funny is that the manager Asami is not the issue. He is actually a great manager. The rest of the employees and store once he isn't there acts a damn fool. 95% of the employees are lazy and will throw all the work on actual working workers to the point that its just not the cvs way and it just gets ridiculous. all the work shouldn't not be on one workers back this include put backs, phasing the store and cleaning. Hell no. If there is other workers it seems they just hide or do bare minimum until they leave and then leave the rest on one person. The time I was there I was left wondering what in the actual hell some of them were doing when they were hidden. It is not a team and if you want to work here I suggest you get a cvs job in Manhattan. Because this is not a store that values team work in fact majority of the employees will hide and leave you in the front. An its not like they are working much maybe doing something here or there but if work was getting done the store wouldn't look like a mess. In terms of customer service it is so so and not what I am used to. A lot of the employees do not alert the customers to what can be done for them which is most likely why the customers complain. When I was there it seems some were even shocked I was helping them without an attitude. Beware of a manger called timothy, he is horribly rude not only to workers but customers. Management as well refuses to check the staff and act conscientious in times of disagreement. When the staff is approached by a client with an accent, the staff in the pharmacy area refuse to try to understand the client. The head pharmacist today 5/26/2020 refused help the client also claiming to not understand the client's accent. I am Completely disgusted and disappointed in this facility , this neighborhood is full of diverse population and people. I have been a customer at CVS on and off for many years. I always get quite a few medications, monthly. You Would think with the business I bring, they would be at least honest With me, and maybe even cordial. Every MONTH it's the SAME thing with the SAME medication, that they are out of stock. Now being that I get my medication once every 30 days, you'd think they would have some already there, waiting for me to bring in my prescriptions. No, it's the same song and dance EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR YEARS NOW! I'm tired of it! I have never tried to get my medications early, EVER! So why am I being treated like a drug abuser??? I feel that I'm being discriminated against because of the medications that I am prescribed! The funniest thing is when I go to CVS in Manhattan, I NEVER have a problem! Imagine that! The pharmacist tried to put it off on the DEA, "that's their regulations........" So I told her about how they have no problem getting my meds in Manhattan, and that it couldn't be the DEA! This store is about 3 blocks from my house, so I was super exited once it opened. The store is always clean and the pharmacist rep are always very friendly. I normally do self check out but have always received great service when needing assistance with a product. They offer great deals and always have good sales going on. My favorite drugstore PERIOD. This is my neighborhood CVS so i usually like to go here to get any items I may need. Lately this place has turned into the GHETTO! Can't find items because they r not restocked the ppl who works there attitude stinks it's like u can tell by the way they talk to customers that they don't want to be there. The self service machines are down and acting up, the photo machine is broken.Then when u ask for a manager u have some hoodlum come to u with an attitude.
