I called the Kaiser advice nurse, and she said that she could send a message to my doctor for approval and that we could have the prescription sent to a Rockmart pharmacy. The pharmacy could then contact the Kaiser pharmacy to have an authorization sent in. Time was running out. It was late on a Friday afternoon when we arrived at the Smith Lockwood pharmacy. The people there was unbelievably helpful and patient and managed to fill my prescription before closing time. Since this prescription was essential to me, I was so grateful for their help. I have twice gone in early in the morning only to find that the self checkout lanes are not even open yet. The associate I spoke to did not even know the managers full name and no one answered the store phone when I attempted to call.

It doesn't have a good selection, but it's kept clean. A bigger selection would change my opinion a lot. The employees don't run from you like in some stores I've been in, and they all seem friendly even though there aren't enough working to cover a store that size. That's what you get for low prices though. There are never enough registers open, they want you to stand in line for the self-checkout. That really burns me up, every time I'm there it's like that, I wish they'd put more people on checkout.

Once I was at the store, the pickup staff were unable to reverse the charges, directing me to the corporate 800 number. After spending 10 minutes navigating an unhelpful phone AI, I was told they couldn't assist me. I then had to track down the staff to retrieve the unwanted substitute items and go inside the store to Customer Service for the correction. The entire process, which is designed for convenience, took over 30 minutes to fix. The store and call-in support systems need to be drastically improved to allow for immediate corrections on-site.
