They gave me a broken prescription bottle. Never answered when I called and tried to leave voicemails. Eventually got a hold of a very helpful cvs rep from elsewhere who documented and told me what I should do. An hour or two later a manager called from this cvs and with no pretext... "what do you want". This was after the cvs rep I spoke with already notified them. There was really no reason for this location to call me back at all after that but evidently this guy just felt like venting his frustrations. Completely unprofessional and very rude. I've had a few bad experiences at this location and will be having my prescriptions sent elsewhere for now on. read more

The pharmacy staff is extremely rude and disrespectful to their customers. I was in drive thru line waiting my turn, they waited on the car in front of me. We were the only two cars in drive thru. When it was time for me to pull up to the window they put the lunch sign up went to lunch. I pulled up to the front and all the pharmacy workers (4-5 of them) were walking out the door, waving their fingers around yelling 1:30 is 1:30, we close everyday at 1:30 for lunch. Very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. But it was ok to wait on the car in front on me?? But we pulled up at the same time... I felt like they did this just because I was white. They were all black and the people in the car in front me was too. But when the white girl pulled up, nope sorry we're closed for lunch. The supposed shift manager w purple hair didn't seem to care either. I switched all of my son's prescriptions across the street to Walgreens!! I suggest yall do the same. And from the other comments I read, they just don't want to be there. If u don't want to do your job find another one!! And I called corporate. read more

The poor pharmacy staff is terribly overworked and it's evident every time I come here. I constantly see customers get rude and worked up and take it out on the pharmacy staff, it's definitely a big part why they had to shorten the hours and struggle to find people to work here. That being said, CVS please do not text and call me telling me my medication has been filled, but when i show up a full 24 hrs AFTER the notice it was ready I was told it would be another 30 min to an hour until it was filled, not cool. read more

This CVS is in a part of town were frequently in. So we stopped by the other day to see if they still had any Christmas mark-downs - they did! It was the third week of January and they had about 5 different kinds of candy makes 75% off. What a deal! We picked out a bag of Hershey's Cookie Layer Crunch and it was only $1.25! I went with mint over Caramel because I've already tried the mint and know it's awesome! There were other options like Lindt Truffles or Ghiradeli Squares. When we checked out the service was efficient. We can plugged in our rewards number as always....but I'm not really sure why. I don't think I've ever gotten a CVS reward or coupon. I think my mom has....the lesson from this - if you actually want the rewards card to pay off, you have to do a little work. It won't just fall in your lap. read more

The staff is friendly and kind. They should not be poorly rated as it is not their fault they are understaffed. There have been times where I have had issues with my insurance or CVS account and the staff has quickly helped me resolve it. read more

The staff is nice but this is so understaffed, almost every time we call we wait on the phone for at least 30-45 minutes before a real person ever shows us there is a chance our phone call will be answered. I have currently been on hold for over 96 minutes (!), and no one has ever picked up the phone to let me know they will answer my call. Then, after we finally get through to a person--which we often never do--they tell us the prescription(s) will be refilled within a few hours. The next day, when my daughter goes to pick it/them up, she often finds that the refill has not even been started. read more

Going to the pharmacy here is one of my least favorite things ever. It always takes forever and involves tons of waiting and standing in multiple lines. The process here seems totally broken. I live downtown and I choose this CVS over any of the downtown locations. My favorite thing about this location is there is always parking and it is just right up the hill. It's easy to get in and out of. The positives: + Have a pretty decent alcohol selection, and even have some nicer wine. + The pharmacists have always went above and beyond to help me. Today I went in to get something for a sinus infection to ease the pain before I can get into the doctor and one of the pharmacists came out from behind her desk to help pick me out a medicine. I told her my symptoms and she picked out two different options for me, and even took the time to explain them to me. When someone actually does their job it surprises me and I really appreciate the customer service here! + Parking + Have great seasonal items + Have a ton of coupons if you use their rewards program you can even get some items completely free if you play your "cards" right ;) The one big turnoff for me: - They have a security guard here at all times, which seems like a positive, but he actually follows you around the entire store while you shop and its so creepy. Still, my favorite location close enough to downtown and it is a solid place to pick up everything you need. read more

I always avoided this CVS location because it's across the street from the sketchy Corryville Kroger (aka Kro-ghetto) and I'd rather not risk my life for a pack of gum. But, I now stand corrected. This CVS is just fine. It's a standard store, very large inside, it's open 24 hours, and has a drive-thru pharmacy. To reduce the unsafe feeling I thought I'd have when going there at 10pm for a last-minute Mother's Day card, I was pleased to see a security guard at the front door. I've seen him in the parking lot when I've driven past the store before, so I can only assume it is secured 24/7. Though the Clifton CVS on Ludlow will still be the one I frequent the most, if I'm ever around Corryville and need some Advil, I no longer have a reason to fear this location too much! read more

This CVS is open 24 hours which is a lifesaver if you find yourself leaving the ED of any of the nearby hospitals past midnight on a Sunday. Not only is the store open, but the pharmacy is as well. Truly a lifesaver. And...the pharmacist at this hour was SUPER friendly and helpful. An awesome counter to my expectations. Logistically, this place is also favorable-parking, lighting, and a security guard. The Walgreens that's a part of the Corryville Kroger complex is also open 24 hours. After waiting over an hour in a chair right next to the counter I went back up and she said "oh sorry I forgot about you we'll call right now" and by the time they called my doctors was closed. The store looks old am tired. The main complaint is how much of a hassle it is to pay with card. It is so slow! I don't understand why using the chip is so hard for cvs. I can't wait for Walgreens to open because they have figured out how to use chip pay and make super fast and easy. read more

I am a UC student and had my prescription transferred to this CVS. My doctor called my prescription on October 4, 2022 and again on October 14, 2022. The week of October 11, 2022 I went to pick up my medication. I was told my account was placed on "hold" and the CVS from my home town had to release it. I called the CVS (E. 96th St, Fishers, IN) in my home town, spoke with Tyler numerous times and he stated it was not on "hold". Tyler called the UC CVS, was on hold for almost 30 minutes, left messages, and no one returned his call. My doctor called it in again on October 14, 2022. I spoke with Daja on October 14, 2022. She stated the prescription was not there. I called my doctor to ask him to call it in, for a third time, which he did on October 14, 2022 around 12:30pm EST. When I called the UC CVS to confirm they got it, the gentleman on the phone stated they didn't. That he personally retrieved all the messages and it was not called in. I then called my doctor with the UC CVS gentleman on the phone, had a 3-way call, and my doctor verbally told him he called it in at 12:30pm. My doctor then proceeded to tell him what I needed. This is UNACCEPTABLE!! The UC CVS does NOT check their messages from doctors that call in prescriptions!! I will NEVER use them again! read more

I never write reviews but I created an account especially to talk about my terrible experience at this pharmacy. They are frequently out of stock on my medication, never have my refills ready on time, and this past month I had 4 pills missing from each of my prescriptions. When I called they said their counts were correct and they had watched the video and saw nothing erroneous. I was told I would receive a call from loss prevention but was never contacted. When I called back they said they called me but didn't want to leave a voicemail because it would contain sensitive information. I don't understand why they wouldn't say "this is CVS give us a call back at....". When I suggested this to the pharmacist on the phone (Johnathan- also the person who filled my prescription) he said "I can't go back and change it now so Sorry this wasn't done to your liking". Every employee is not this rude but he was impatient, had a condescending tone and I will not be returning to this pharmacy. If you go here, check and make sure your pill count is correct before you leave. read more

In late Fenruary and March I had a very frustrating and embarassing set of visits to the pharamacy department. The treatment by the staff, especially the large man who was the the manager that night, was poor and careless. Rather than come to me at the counter to meet me to discuss the particulars of my medication, we had to shout across the elevated island where he was standing about my medication, its prescription and the qualities of the doctor who prescribed it. The debate went on for 10 minutes and was really ridiculous. After I purchaesd the medication I discovered while I was travelling in Asia that it was the wrong amount of dosage that was prescribed and I had been overcharged by 500%. it was not have the doseage that I needed. On 26 April I went into the pharamcy to speak my mind and I met the most respectful Laura Schenker, the manager of the department. Her attention and care could not have been better. She came to the counter to speak with me, without any prompting. She listened to my complaint and actually corrected the mistake immediately. She was very apologietic to me for the mistake and the inconvenience that it caused me. Her treatment was completely different and it has has encouraged me to continue with the pharamcy. My opinion is that some of the staff at the Unversity CVS branch have grown an attitude that the customers at this location are either "too poor" to be impoirtant or students and not worthy of respect and attention. This CVS has turned into a joke. For the past 8+ years I have been a frequent customer of this location and in the last year it has become terrible. I've come in to use the pharmacy, grocery, and what used to be my favorite was printing pictures. The last couple times I've used the online service to print my pictures and I've had a horrid experience. It's supposed to be convenient: upload online pick up a hour later in the store. The first time I printed 200+ pictures, received my confirmation email and headed there to pick them up. Once I get there the "manager" has no clue where my pictures are and offers me no information or solution. So before I get anymore furious I leave the store and call kodak/cvs corporate. I was offered no solution and no one has any clue where my pictures are. The next day I receive a call from cvs saying my pictures are ready and need to be picked up. (I still have no clue what happened) I'm not sure why I went back to this store again to print more pictures but I gave them another chance and needless to say the same exact thing happened except this time I told Jessica that this has happened before so if she could just call me when the would be ready that would be fine. Once everything was ready I go to pick up my order and none of my coupons were added to the order which made my pictures almost triple in price. (I have a confirmation email stating the exact price) I asked to speak with a supervisor so I could get this resolved and Laura explained to me she was a supervisor. She treated me like I was the scum of the earth. She gave me one word answers never looked me in the eye, didn't even ask me for my cvs card or offer me a bag. She slammed the drawer and walked away after she threw my receipt on the counter. I will not being going back. This store gets no more chances with me. read more

I've used this pharmacy frequently for several years. I've had too many bad experiences at this location. Around 3 dozen people work here and there's a lot of turnover, especially among pharmacy students. Inventory is frequently out of stock. A lot of people use this store. I think these factors result in poor communication and poor customer service. read more

PHARMACIST ONLY FILLS PRESCRIPTIONS OF PEOPLE SHE KNOWS PERSONALLY. ANYONE ELSE IS REFUSED AND LAUGHED AT. My disabled father and I went into this location to get his prescription filled today, 11/25/2015 at about 9:30AM. His doctor is located in the UC Medical building around the corner from here, which makes it convenient when he needs prescriptions filled. In the past we encountered no problems, however that was not the case on our trip this morning. Upon going in and my father giving his prescription to the pharmacist, she informed him that they did have his medicine in stock but she wasn't going to be able to fill it. My father asked what the problem was and she said, "If I fill you're prescription, there is a chance that I will run out of the medication later on today and then I won't be able to fill any customer's prescriptions." My father said, "But ma'am I am a customer, I've been in here multiple times.." She just smiled and said, "With the hospital being so close, I have to make sure that I can serve my customers and the patients that come here, first." My father was very upset at this point and said "Ma'am I am a patient, look at my prescription I just came from the hospital..Why are you refusing to serve me?" Again she just smiled and said "I can call another store for you and see if they have your medicine in stock somewhere else if you'd like?" My father and I were speechless. He made one last attempt to figure it out and said, "I'm a customer, my prescription is right here, you have the medicine, why won't you serve me? Is this a joke? Are you messing with me?" She just laughed under her breath, smiled again and said "I'm sorry sir, I have to make sure that I will have enough of the medicine to serve my 'regular' customers." My father and I couldn't believe it. I suppose she's one of those people who enjoys being mean to the elderly and keeping medicine out of the hands of people that need it. She should not have her job if she isn't going to do it. Or perhaps she's upset she wasn't smart enough to be a doctor and had to settle for pharmacist? I don't know what was going on in her pea brained mind, but it reflects absolutely poorly on the company as a whole. Luckily there was a walgreens right across the street with the most friendliest staff I've ever encountered, and my father forgot about the discrimination, for the moment, that he had experienced 5 minutes earlier. My father and I also informed his doctor at UC about the discriminating practices going on at the pharmacy at CVS, which he informed us was not the first time he had heard of this happening at that location. So hopefully patients do not have to deal with this in the future and they can just go to another pharmacy to avoid the hassle of the pharmacist at CVS altogether. Everyone else, you've been informed now. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. read more
