Pharmacist Brittney Gillespie is completely unprofessional. I needed a medication that required a prior authorization. I am familiar with this process, which is completely frustrating and takes time. I explained that the last time I filled a prescription for this medication, one of the pharmacists at this location told me to self pay. I asked if this was an option. Brittney began asking me why I don't have insurance through my work, why I have medicaid insurance, and why I hadn't refilled my prescription since last summer. I explained that it was because I had a lapse in insurance. I then asked her for her name. Which she replied "it's on the front of the building". She said all of these things in front of my daughter and a store full of people. She is completely unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. I left the pharmacy with no help, and without my medication my doctor had prescribed. She should not be a pharmacist, or even have a job working with the public. I will never return to this CVS location again. read more

I have been getting prescriptions and while there purchasing items for 11 years. Always taken care of. I can't ask for more than that. They always have shown me respect and concern for my needs. read more

I've never had any issues at this particular location until recently . The past 2 times I've been here the pharmacy tech has been so blatantly rude to me I'm really thinking of switching pharmacies altogether. Learn how to treat your customers. Also even if you call your rX in the night before your order still won't be ready bc like the pharmacy tech says to me ---" As you can see we're backed up" . I ordered refills of my heart medicine 2 days ago, I showed up today and the pharmacy asked me to wait for 20 minutes because it wasn't even started. The store manager Ray said they were backed up but the pharmacy was working as expected... perhaps Ray should have higher expectations because his customers certainly do. read more

Don't use this pharmacy! I have been trying to get in touch with the pharmacy for the past 2 days and they don't answer their phone. On hold for over 20 minutes is not acceptable. Very rude employees too. According to my insurance carrier this CVS has been overcharging on at least one of my prescriptions so I need to get them onboard with the correct charge. read more

Takes forever to get a prescription filled, even when called in by the doctor or urgent care

Doctor sent in script at 1230 pm. At 7 pm I was told a half hour. It's 8 pm and I'm still waiting...this is pretty crummy. I guess they wait until you come into the pharmacy to start on the script, but that goes against the whole point of the doctor sending it in electronically. Just dumb, now I'm sick and waaaaaaaiiiiiitttttttting. Just....never again. I'll go elsewhere. read more

This place is awful! They put a "hold" on my husbands heart medication and did not fill the prescription for 4 days. When I asked why it was put on hold they just shrugged. It takes them forever to fill a prescription! I called in a refill and it wasn't ready until 24 hours after it was supposed to be filled. The worst part is they just don't care....your discomfort is not important to them in any way. Also, the manager hides in the back room when it gets too busy. I am not kidding, I have seen him do it when the lines get too long. He is probably trying to avoid having to listen to complaints. The company doesn't care either, I called them and never get to speak to a person to express my dis-satisfaction. read more

Prescriptions are NEVER ready no matter what you do. They are great at doing automatic refills that you didn't authorize or want but if you drop off a new RX that is critical, it is never started before you arrive to pick it up. This lack of service also completely defeats the purpose of the drive through, which for me has become nothing more than a complaint counter. Service here has been sketchy at best and with the Walgreens in Coatesville recently closing, I cannot image this store effectively absorbing the extra customers. I'm over it and started moving my prescriptions to Hopewell Pharmacy. read more

They are the absolute worst pharmacy! I've had scripts sent 6 hours before and then have gone to pick them up, only to be told they weren't done!!!!!! They have had numerous issues on the cvs end with their computer system,and told me my insurance wasn't active( which was NOT true), they are rude, and nasty and not consumer friendly. You'll be waiting hours here for a simple z pack. Don't bother! read more

I dropped off prescription at the drive thru. They said come back in 20 minutes. I came back over an hour later and they hadn't even started it. They told me to wait 10 minutes. I walked around and came back 10 minutes later. The girl started to give me the wrong prescription. They checked with each other and it turns out they still had not even started filling mine. I complained to the shift manager and even he agreed there was a problem with the pharmacy filling prescriptions. He said he would tell the manager but it still appears to be happening. read more

This is now our Pharmacy since we moved. Ive found it to be very good. Somtimes the Pharmacy is very, very busy but others come forward to help. Best thing is the Store Manager. Dont know his name but Always asks if I need help finding something, very nice man ! read more

I use this CVS on a regular basis at least two to three times a month just because it is literally within walking distance of my work and they accept my prescription insurance . The front of the store is generally clean and I have never had a problem with the customer service staff. However the pharmacy is another story I have multiple horror stories about the staff and their laziness, attitudes, and utter lack of customer service. They have recently gotten a few new pharmacy staff members that have been at least able to fill a prescription and not be completely rude which has been nice. I wouldn't suggest going her unless you absolutely had to. Next visit to the Doctors I will be changing my pharmacy to where my husband goes it's always a much better experience, even though it will be more expensive it will be worth not having the headache. read more

I'm not sure why the other review on here is so bad... in my experience, people are way to quick to give poor reviews whenever things don't go their way, but completely fail to give good reviews whenever service is as they expect or want. Anyway, we live just around the corner from this CVS and have been having our scripts filled here since they opened. We also occasionally have photos printed here and have our Christmas cards / invitations done here as well. I have never had a bad experience and have found staff members in the pharmacy area and at the check out counters to be extremely bubbly, cheerful and friendly, as well as helpful. I just called a few minutes ago and got excellent service over the phone regarding one of our prescriptions, so thought I'd give kudos where they are due! (When I find out the name of the rep that just helped me, I'll update... she could not have been friendlier or more eager to help and deserves to be recognized. read more
