It's dangerous when someone carries the title of "pharmacist" and purposely weaponizes their designation to lie to both customers and patrons of the pharmacy, as well as their staff. I entered this CVS this morning to buy Syringes to administer my Testosterone prescription which is on file at CVS. I was met by a rude Pharmacy Tech that scoffed, rolled her eyes at me and went to the pharmacist: Craig Boardman. Craig Boardman stepped in, and told me that New Hampshire state law prohibits him from selling me an Intra-Muscular Syringe for my accompanying prescription and that I need to have my doctor send a prescription specifically just for syringes. Now, I am not from New Hampshire originally, so I took the time to do my due dilligence and research the issue. It turns out: Craig was blatantly lying. New Hampshire law actually states that the amount of syringes that you can sell to someone with an accompanying prescription that REQUIRES the syringes an UNLIMITED amount of syringes WITHOUT A PRESCRPTION SPECIFICALLY for them as long as the individual is an ADULT over 18. I am 32 years old and I look 40. LOL. It is also NOT a CVS policy to do this. Had he just said "I reserve my right to refuse the business"- I probably would've just walked away. But since this is for medication that I badly need, we are in the middle of a record breaking snowstorm inhibiting travel to another pharmacy and delaying my shipments- I am calling it out. You cannot weaponize fake laws in front of a staff that looks to you for knowledge. You are ruining the next generation of pharmacists and creating an environment of judgement. Stop lying to customers and your team and stop rejecting people the right to use their medication. It is insanely dangerous to flirt with. read more

Extremely rude pharmacy employee's . You call to see if it's ready and they are so rude about time and when to pick up, tried to ask how much and they all ready hung up. No good by, no see you soon, if your not happy with your job then leave , plenty of good people are looking for jobs, so sad read more

Missing prescription and pharmacist tries to blame me then hangs up! Interesting. Omg don't use this pharmacy! Go anywhere else but here! Very, very rude and unprofessional service. It's even worth going to the Cambridge, MA CVS even if It's out of your way than to have to suffer the verbal abuse tolerated here. This pharmacy should close down. read more

I've never been so frustrated and disgusted with a pharmacy as I am with CVS in Derry, NH. My prescription was called in and I went to pick it up on Friday. My insurance requires a 90 day supply of the inhaler Breo. It had been set up as a monthly with a cost of 100$ per inhaler vs 125$ for 3. I told them I'd contact my doctor and have this changed. Monday I called...not there...Tuesday I called...not there...Wednesday I called my doctor. The nurse said they called it in Monday so SHE called. She was told it wasn't there! She told "him" they called it in on Monday! "He" finally looked and YES it was there!!! This nearly put me into the ER because the attack I had was severe! If I could put minus stars I would but unfortunately to post you have to check at least one! If my insurance requires me to continue getting my Breo from CVS, I won't go back there! I will travel further to another CVS in another town! read more

What can you really say about a CVS pharmacy? If you need medications filled, this is typically one of the corporate options you have. After moving to the area, I learned this is not always the case. The staff and pharmacists at the Derry CVS are always prompt, attentive, and caring. read more

One of the best pharmacies around. I live basically by a cluster of pharmacies (Walgreens, rite aid and cvs are practically next door to each other) but I'd pick this cvs over the other pharmacies any day. It's always clean and well stocked and the staff are friendly and helpful, even at 4am. Keep up the great work! read more

I have been in retail for 30 years so new register staff is not a problem for me, but a new staff member with a nasty personality even with his training associate just a few feet away is. If one of my kids or grand kids ever rolled their eyes at me like this young man did I would be the last person they ever rolled their eyes at, I guess it's all how your raised to respect people. read more

I switched scripts to CVS from Walgreens because of the 24 hour convenience; however, what is gained in convenience is lost in customer respect. Pharmacists are continuously changing, as well as the Pharm Techs. The drive up window experience is impersonal, unfriendly, and hurried. Compared to Walgreens where I had an excellent repertoire with the pharmacist and techs, the experience is most unpleasant. I can't take the nastiness anymore. Tonight after another misunderstanding with yet another new Pharmacist, I will be transferring my scripts to a place where people are treated with kindness and understanding. The store manager isn't a pleasant person either; I get the feeling this place is not a great place to work. read more

Worst service and unprofessional. The girl she took passport pictures didn't know what she was doing and told us we can make extra copies if we want later. we will be able to do it for 30 cents so we don't have to pay extra but now I'm learning it's the same amount to take new ones and supervisor was not helpful at all. Instead of correcting their mistakes, he was rude. He said "no we can't do it, you have to pay this amount. She probably made a mistake" and walked away even didn't say sorry it's our coworkers mistake or something like this. That was obviously their mistakes. No more cvs!!! And the girl who was taking passport pictures she didn't know how to take pictures, we directed her! She took a regular picture which is not matching with the passport pictures, not in the middle and tried to give us as a passport pictures. read more
