This is absolutely the worst CVS around. No one ever knows what they are doing. You go to get your prescription and they tell you 15 minutes the next day they have no idea what you are talking about. I had to leave to go to work and couldn't wait, went back the next day and it's not even in the system anymore, they have to order it and have no idea when its coming in. The service is garbage, they are rude, especially the lady with the brown hair who has a constant attitude and scowl on her face. She is rude and nasty and I don't know why this place is even open. read more

The pharmacy dept in this location is the worst I've ever had the misfortune of having to use. The staff do not do basic tasks that should be second nature since they do them all day long every day. They ask if you want a return call when you reorder a prescription yet do not call. Instead, they will txt a reply. They routinely prepare medications I get all of the time without putting them through insurance. That has to happen with them when I try and pick up and am told I have a $1,400 co-pay!! No matter how many times they screw up, they never change! Go ANYWHERE else. read more

CVS EAST HAVEN, CT Main St location. I had an Amazon package sent there, a small package and the manager Nicole lied and told the delivery person that they don't take Amazon packages which they do, I even called corporate to verify that they do. She didn't know if it was medicine or something someone needed , she is just lazy and did not want packages behind the counter With dishonest workers like her, CVS will be out of business in no time. read more

The pharmacy here is terrible. The staff is rude and the pharmacist will refuse to speak to customers. Avoid this place at all costs.

Constantly out of some medication`s that I really need. The entire staff of 6-8 people all take their break at the same time so the pharmacy closes for 1/2 an hour in the middle of the day. That means when they open you can expect to have 10 people in front of you. No issues with people taking breaks but can they at least leave one person back there? There also were times that they went out of their way to help me. Maybe it`s a crap shoot who knows? read more

This Pharmacy is awful. Pharmacist is rude and uncaring, staff is also pretty helpless. There are days when there are 8 people working in the pharmacy and they still can't fill prescriptions timely. Horrendous. I'd give them zero stars but I I have to select a minimum of one (which they don't deserve). read more

One thing that I've learned is that East Haven is full of racism. Tonight I went to the CVS on foxton boulevard and was talking to the young lady Courtney and the manager Greg came up he was absolutely rude education not only to me but to Courtney as well and she just kept apologizing for how rude he had read. It just surprises me that someone like that works for a company that's about catering to people and helping people and sending people up for success. A couple weeks ago I was in the store and the same dude Greg was helping him a few older ladies it was absolutely disrespectful to them he spoke down to them very condescending and very annoyed. Once those customers received to leave the pharmacy he began to talk about them to me which I honestly wanted to know part of. Then he goes on this long rant about why he was the only one in the store and he doesn't need the job he'll walk out because he can't run this whole store by yourself or the pharmacist very negative commentary for someone who could have potentially. So he proceeds to follow me and continues to berate me until I was absolutely uncomfortable and shaking walking out of the store. But to be so negative with customers not just myself but as a third party looking in cuz absolutely terrible and nothing of any kind of management qualities that I was taught he told me that I was stupid and I needed to get an education that he has an engineering degree and he's working on his Master's what am I doing with my life I have never had an employee talked to a customer like that. He also advised me to meet him outside. And as I'm walking to my car he yells I'u bi going to call the police you bigger..... let me remind you this is management. The level of disrespect. In my opinion, CVS doesn't garner enough accolades and I want to change that status quo. The Foxon Road location in East Haven is amazing! I would applaud them at the end of each shopping experience, but that could become a little embarrassing. Then again, it feels good to know that you've helped a customer. I spent over a decade in customer service and retail, hence I have firsthand knowledge of such endeavors. If your associate goes out of their way to help you (which is often), it would be a wise idea to tell that person's manager. I've never had a problem with the pharmacy. Sometimes the drive-thru staff could be a bit harried, but they never are. Instead, they are perpetually pleasant. Inside the store, it's always a pleasure to find both name brands and the store brand, which is just as effective and normally costs less. There are cold cases from which you can grab a Coke as you maneuver around well-stocked aisles. Then you can peruse through the holiday displays and fill your cart with anything your heart craves. (Look at those boxes of Russell Stover...) Lastly, the entire staff knows how to handle grouchy and vexed customers. There's an inherent art to the dance of confrontation, and you can rest assured that your shopping experience will be very mellow. read more

Why the customer service is very good I have no complaints about that often times the product that you're looking for is not available and you have to go to different locations to find what you need. In times like these, when you're trying to stay out of stores, it's rather frustrating having to go from store to store to pick up your prescriptions or whatever you need. Fast & friendly staff. Call ahead for refills and medications are generally ready as arranged. Drive-thru is a plus. On previous visits, this place has been extremely busy, sometimes with agitated customers and I have observed staff to keep their cool and do their best to expedite to meet their needs and send them off in a better state than when they came in. True story! The secret of success of this establishment is their awesome staff. read more

This is the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been too. I recently moved down to East Haven from Guilford, CT and I could not be MORE disappointed with the Pharmacy technicians. I did not have only one bad experience with them, but multiple with the same employee. She is rude in all aspects. When asking questions she makes you feel like an IDIOT rather than being helpful. Her tone of voice is RUDE and the way she treats customers is unprofessional. Every time I attend this CVS I have a huge issue! There are two other employees that I've had positive experiences with, but not this woman. After my last encounter, I switched back to Guilford. This woman actually ruined the remainder of my day. And then she had another employee in her department take over and she was rude as well. I made sure to look at both their name tags to report these individuals. I do not understand why you work in customer service and you are not a nice person. read more

Absolutely rude and terrible staff at the pharmacy! My husband had a medical procedure done and needed medication that couldn't wait, and my son was also sick. Both prescriptions got called in hours before closing, when I went in to pick them up they weren't even ready on 3 separate occasions. I also had a prescription I needed filled for my husband that they didn't send electronically, and the girl gave me the paper back telling me they were far too busy and to get it filled elsewhere. What?!!! So I did, took it to rite aid and had it filled within 10 minutes. Will be transferring all of my prescriptions there. read more
