However, the way that the gas station pumps are positioned can be awkward depending on the way that you are driving. In my case, I was driving in from east to west. As you get closer to the gas station, you will notice that the pumps aren't parallel North to South but instead, NE to SW. This causes a problem because there are two entrances to the gas station. Since my vehicle has its gas tank opposite side of the drivers seat, if cars have taken up certain pumps, I have to maneuver around the all of the pumps just to reposition myself. As I was trying to reposition myself, another vehicle came and took the spot I wanted to use and I had to reposition myself again and wait for another one to free up. Other than that, the price today was 2.12, just about the same everywhere else. Didn't have a problem paying at the pump.

Then, when I later asked for a copy of the records for my VA files, I was informed that it would cost me $25 or $30 (can't remember which). I will never utilize his facility, or him nor will I ever recommend him. I also found him to be abrupt, rude, short on explanations. Of course, maybe that's the problem....it's a Community Care Contract with the VA...doesn't get paid as much as others pay.

This Murphy USA had a full, walk-in convenience store with snacks of al the usuall kinds, some pre-packaged fresh food, both hot and cold drinks, water, small essentials, and, of course Lotto tickets (voluntary taxes which have not reduced property taxes nor seemed to improve schools, but that is another matter). There is plenty of parking, quite a few fuel pumps , sales of ice, trade-in 5 gallon propane tanks, etc. I did not notice a place to fill tires with air, but I did not look specifically. The young lady at the counter was friendly and efficient. Of course, Murphy USA always has the best gas prices. This place checks all the boxes for a gas station and convenience store. I'll be back.

The owner is a very nice guy, but I'm afraid the quality control here is essentially non existent. Here are my issues: 1) about 2-3 pieces of bone in every Venison sausage. I have a zip lock bag with about 30 pieces of bone that id collected and was considering bringing to Aguilars to show them. 2) jerky has salt concentrated in certain portions of the meat...so much so that you can see it glistening in the light on certain areas. Biting into these spots sends a salty burn through your mouth. 3) what you pick up is not always what you order. 4) Found feces in a package of stew meat one time...not sure how that is possible considering the animal was field dressed before dropping off. 5) Found a long metal wire in my jerky today. It was cooked, dehydrated, and packaged along with the meat giving a good portion of it a nice metallic flavor. 6) found plastic cooked into my beef jerky. The sad truth is aside from making a long drive, this is about the only option for getting your meat processed 'professionally'. My wife and I are now processing our own meat, and for the first time in 2-3 years we truly enjoy our venison. I would recommend doing it all yourself before bringing your game here.
