So when I saw they were offering multiple coupon codes over 50% for photo gifts, I decided to take them up on it. If you've never done a pickup at Walgreens, they tell you in advance when you should expect your order to be ready for pickup and you can opt into communication about the order process. I placed my custom orders at this location near my FIL's home to be ready by 11:30 am giving me ample time to pick it up as I didn't plan on being in the area until after 3pm. Upon arrival, I realized that the store seemed super bare with slim-pickings on the shelves. This didn't bug me too much since I wasn't there on a shopping whim, but made me wonder why they weren't stocked up. I pushed through to the photo department and let a young lady know I was picking up an order and my last name. She looked for the order in the "E" bin, didn't see it and moved onto to other bins that weren't in line with my last name which was puzzling, especially because she was truly taking her time lol. When she didn't find them, she called another associate over to assist. This associate proceeded to let me know that they got backed up due to the holiday and *maybe* she could do it in an hour. I totally get the holiday delay, but wish I had gotten a notification via text (I got an email later) and saved myself the time. Because the employees seemed frazzled and caught up, I decided to leave without my custom Father's Day gifts in fear that I'd spend even more time waiting around. Not the best Walgreens experience, but it happens!

I have severe laryngitis right now and can barely speak, so picking up my medication promptly is extremely important. My provider sent over a simple, straightforward prescription HOURS ago, and despite that, the pharmacy has been completely unaccommodating. Every time I check, I'm told it will be "another 2 hours." There is no sense of urgency, no compassion, and no effort to help someone who is clearly sick and struggling. This isn't the first time this location has dragged out basic prescriptions, but today was unacceptable. If you're sick and actually need your medication in a timely manner, do not rely on this CVS. The lack of communication and customer care is honestly unbelievable.
