Unfortunately - the email goes to one individual. They don't have a dedicated email for customers that can be monitored by whoever is working that day - so I found it a bit of a challenge to communicate with varying staff members who were trying to assist while another staff member was on vacation - or off work that day. Won't bore readers with anymore detail, but despite their great prices - because of the communication issues - I'm currently seeking another pharmacy. Suggestions welcome. I may have gotten on the pharmacist's nerves with my persistence, but they were finally able to get a price for me and just like I figured - their price was 30% lower than than the four compounding pharmacies I checked with here in metro-Atlanta. ***************** Full disclosure - this is the FIRST time - I've ever written a review - where I didn't REALLY know how to review them. 1) Background / History - I was referred to this pharmacy - by another pharmacy I loved. See review for MP Pharmacy / Fusion Pharmacy. That pharmacy had the absolute BEST prices I've ever encountered. Not sure how my dermatologist found these folks, but Kudos! I had a 6 month love affair with their prices and customer service when BAM! All of a sudden they could no longer write Rx's for non-Floridians because they were acquired by a new company. :-( I was struggling to find another affordable compounding pharmacy and Bri recommended Custom Plus. 2) Value - they have the very good prices. I live in metro-Atlanta. So I'm comparing their prices to local compounding pharmacies. 3) Convenience - According to the staff - there is no online-refill or online-contact option. The website lists a 'Contact Us' option. Because I work midnight - 8am / midnight to 5am and sleep the 'first half' of the day but also work part-time from 1- 5pm - it can be difficult to call any business during 'normal' business hours. The website lists certain hours. The staff lists different hours. Honestly - I have no idea what their hours are. But I hope, at some point, they will offer a monitored, online option. Not even referring to weekends. I would just LOVE to be able to message them - since I'm asleep or working during their business hours. 4) Customer Service - I've never had anyone be rude with me. But I will say - if you are in your 40's or 50's - and you have teenagers or people under the age of 24 that you engage with a LOT - be prepared for this sort of interaction. Lol. I swear I feel like I'm 80 years old every time I speak to one of the support staff members. Lol. They don't seem to have customer files with Notes like other pharmacies - so I have to repeat myself quite a bit. Then they seem a little exasperated or annoyed when you give them the detail they requested. And the staff loves to ask you to hold while they get some info - then without giving you any sort of warning that you're about to be transferred - someone else will come on the line. I find it a bit disconcerting.

My wife and I needed passport pictures. We called Walgreens and they happily tell you to come in…read moreanytime. I went and they only one person working the front register. She informed me she would do her best. I sat in the picture chair. She helped me in between customers. I was in there for about 25 minutes to get a picture that should take less than five minutes. But she did try. My wife left work early to get hers done a few days later. The employee working the front informed her they weren't going to do it because they were too busy. She went to CVS and they did it no problem. Apparently Walgreens don't employ enough people. They need to advertise passport photos are contingent upon their ability to do so at the time.

I even asked before I picked them up if they were the good clear ones or the non adhering bandaid like pieces of garbage (Mylan). She actually put me on hold to go check and told me they were the good ones. Of course, after I came back, they refused to take them back. A quick Google search will give you all the info you need on the lack of quality of these Mylan patches. Herbst is supposed to stand for quality but continues to give patients this garbage prescription. Update: when I contacted Herbst, I got an extremely unapologetic and snarky response. I was given a long list of instructions to apply these patches that includes a hair dryer. I was also told that I should switch back to CVS. I really wanted to support local but not Herbst.

I asked him his name because I wanted to make sure I had it when I report him to the State Board of Pharmacy and to CVS corporate. As a response he took the insulin away from me that was for my son, who had run out of supply today. He said he wasn't CVS and didn't have to give me the insulin and forced me to apologize. I will never patronize the CityWayCVS again and if I can help it, any CVS which is hard due to their monopoly on the market. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional.
