The typical Walmart, lacking the value of Aldi, the discounts Kroger has, the fresh produce Meijer consistently presents, and most seriously holds back on fair compensation for workers resulting in mass government assistance claims throughout its workforce. People need to be warned away from this place. The associates cannot answer basic questions. Unless you happen to find a manager who can help you, you're on your own. I've shopped here for two years, and the "service" is almost always abysmal. I've spent 45 mins trying to find someone to cut a yard of fabric--there was a sign in the sewing dept telling customers to ask someone in the electronics section. They wouldn't acknowledge me unless I waited in line. When I got to the front of the line, the associate just said "sorry, I don't know how to do that. Next?" After I badgered him a bit, he made an announcement over the phone for "someone" to help a customer in the sewing department. No one ever came. I often choose the self-checkout so that I can bag my groceries for myself. I don't really like it, but the people working at the checkout are terrible at it--your bread will squish, your eggs will break, your produce will bruise. On more than one occasion, too many heavy things were put in the same bag and the handle broke under the weight, scattering my groceries all over the parking lot. One time I went to the auto center to get a tire replaced. It was 1.5 hrs before they closed, and they said they'd call me when it was ready. I wandered around the store for a bit and ended up sitting in customer service area, wasting time on my phone. After a couple hours with no call, I went to go check in. While I was waiting, the auto service center had closed and almost all the employees had left. Apparently, they were missing a part and they couldn't change my tire. I looked online at Amazon and Walmart for a good carpet cleaner. I made sure when I was looking at Walmart that I only looked at those that were in stock at this store. I decided which one I wanted and it happened to be at Walmart so I went there and it was $30 more expensive according to a sign and to the girl who worked there's scanner. I used my scanner on my app (because Walmart took all the price check scanners down) and it showed $30 less. I went to pay for it and they told me that I would have to order it online and then pick it up to get that price even though I was standing right there with it in my cart. I said FINE and ordered it at 1:25 pm and received notice to come back at 4pm to pick it up. I called a mgr Gary on my way home and explained how crappy the bait and switch game they were playing was and now I had to make a second trip which was ridiculous. He was no help and our conversation was getting nowhere so I hung up. 20 minutes later I got an alert from Walmart saying they were out of stock in store (they were not they had 6-7) my only option was to order to ship it to me but the more I thought about it the madder I got. I knew they had plenty in stock. The only answer was the manager canceled it in retaliation to my complaints. I ordered from Amazon as I will ALL of my major purchases from now on. Walmart there is another SUPER retailer out there and its called Amazon, you could learn a lesson from them! read more

I have been to many Walmart Stores across the U.S., and the Walmart in Frankfort Indiana has some of the worst cashiers at any Walmart, or store, anywhere I have been. They need a BASIC Customer Service class. I have only lived in Frankfort Indiana about a year and really want to support the community, but going to this Walmart is just PAINFUL!!! I work in Lafayette, so I'll just have to do my shopping there. I suggest shopping anywhere else if you can, and if you cannot - then use self-checkout. read more

The very kind lady with glasses & long dark hair working the self checkout line on the night of Friday March,5th 2021 was so incredibly sweet and was nothing but helpful and full of jokes! I just wanted to say how pleased I was as sometimes you have that awkward moment when you make a funny joke about breaking the machine and the employee doesn't laugh or respond this was the opposite! She was amazing and needs a raise! I'm being so specific because I didn't catch her name and I hope she or her supervisor sees !! read more

would highly appreciate if y'all would stop making the self checkouts normal one day and the next "cards only." Not all of us have the time to wait in line for 20 minutes because we only have cash on us. This would not be as much of a problem if there were more registers open, but it seems to be that you guys open like 3 max. thanks read more

Went to this location for black Friday deal on a ps4 controller. I waited about 30 minutes for a customer rep to unlock the cabinet. I asked for the controller that was in the advertised flyer. He responded he did not know which one was on sale. I asked if he could find out and he said no. I would have to stand in the line at electronics (about an hour or more) to ask. I would then have to come back wait again for the cabinet to be unlocked to go back to the electronics line to check out that item and then stand in line again at the front to check out our other items. I said no Thank you and walked away. I have encountered other employees at this location that cannot answer simple questions. I would avoid this location anytime they are busy or if you need help with anything. read more

I visited the Wal-Mart store in Frankfort, Indiana yesterday(4/18/18) at approximately 4:15 PM. I spent a couple hours shopping inside the store as I was using coupons. I went to check out and my total was over $600.00. I used my coupons all of which were printed online and well within the coupon policy that I read from your website. When we were finished with coupons, (I did have one that was expired and was unable to use-oops), my total was around $500. The cashier had to ask for the CSM to approve the transaction. His name was Scott. He came and told me that he would not approve the transaction because Wal-Mart does not allow more than 20 coupons per transaction. I knew that wasn't true, but I had him cancel my transaction because the customers behind me were getting really impatient. He took my cart of good to the customer service/returns area of the store. I double checked the coupon policy and then asked to speak the the manager, I wanted to understand what had happened and why. I waited for about 30 minutes and Scott came back with the assistant manager Josh. I talked to him about the coupon policy and he agreed that it wasn't stated in the policy. He left me to talk to another manager, I waited, he came back and asked for one of the coupons to enter into an application on his phone to verify if it was legitimate. He did, they were. Josh then told me that he would approve my purchase and that he would have the CSM Scott get everything ready and help me with my transaction so that I could complete my purchase and leave the store. I waited again, I watched as I was waiting the manager Scott leave from his shift and go home. I waited. No one ever came to help me. Josh even saw me waiting with my son in the customer service area on the bench. I finally left the store without any assistance or the items that I wanted to purchase at 7:22 PM. I am just trying to understand how it okay to treat any customer this way. I am severely disappointed in the customer service I received. I never received an apology after the CSM was wrong about the policy and argued with me about it and embarrassed me in front of my son, and other customers shopping inside the store. Then they refused to help me complete my transaction after I was told it would be taken care of. I was truly a terrible experience and because of this I will no longer return to Wal-Mart stores for my purchases. I will encourage others to avoid it as well. I don't appreciate being treated like and idiot or a thief because I am a hard working mother of three and I wanted to save money on some essential items for my household, and PAY with CASH to receive them. I don't expect this complaint to make a difference, but there needs to be an awareness so that others aren't treated this way. I wasted so much of my time to leave with nothing. While my milk, frozen foods, and meats lay in a cart becoming inedible. Makes no sense at all. Thanks for nothing. I would avoid this place at ALL costs! read more
